Why Do They Hate Us?

Another day, another terror attack (London attack: What we know so far)! While our hearts are with Londoners now, our brains should deeply reason, beginning with a simple question: “why do they hate us so much that they are willing to die to kill us?”

Here is a simple, but politically incorrect, answer: they hate us, because we, the U.S., are an evil empire, having committed numerous atrocities against humanity, from Iraq to Syria. Totally puzzled? Hear me out …

1. Why do they hate us?

4. When did the U.S. become an evil empire?

Shortly after WWII! We have been perpetually at war since then. Why is that? Blame democracy, as we practice it today, in general, and the MIC (Military-Industrial Complex) specifically!

Despite President Eisenhower’s farewell address, warning us against the MIC, most American Presidents since then have not only refused to heed the warning, but also strongly supported the MIC.

For example, President Trump recently proposed to increase our totally out-of-control military budget by yet another outrageous 10%, while cutting everything else. Why is that? Getting re-elected ad nauseam by pleasing the powerful MIC!

Now, is our Presidents’ support of the military genuine and personal? No! The image below is worth more than 1,000 words.

The MIC must be fixed as soon as possible, if America wants any future. Is Donald Trump the President to fix it? It looked promising for a while (Fixing the Military-Industrial Complex!), but now it looks increasingly unlikely, thanks to getting re-elected ad nausea! 5. Discussion

The latest phase of modern American history started on September 11, 2001. Unfortunately, to date, most Americans utterly do not understand its root cause, or are simply in denial. With that, how could we possibly win the War on Terror? For more, read: 9/11: Remembered in America, But Not Understood!

Why are we so “dumb?” Blame democracy, as we practice it today! Three informative readings:
