Austin Mayor Tries to Recruit Transsexuals for the Police

Because of its loony-left politics, Austin has been known as “Moscow on the Colorado.” Maybe that should be changed to San Francisco on the Colorado, in light of the mayor’s invitation for any Bradley Manning types who might get forced out of the military to come join the Austin Police Department:

In the first of a series of three tweets, Mayor Steve Adler said, “If you’re qualified to keep our country safe you’re qualified to keep Austin safe. Transgender Americans are welcome on our police force.” … He also tweeted out a link to the application website for Austin Police Department: “If you get kicked out of the service because you’re transgender, please apply to join our police force.”

“Keep Austin weird,” bark the moonbats. A transsexualized police force ought to help.
