Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s Warnings to the West About Islam’s “Da’wah” Conquest

Dateline, Australia, 2017: There has been one important exception to the largely ignorant state of public discourse about Islam in the West: Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She has been busy formulating the strategy of greater effectiveness in the battle against Islam’s dictatorship over the social body politic. Nonetheless, some larger questions arise out of this whole topic. For instance, what is the principal weapon in the arsenal of Islam’s ideology of conquest, according to the Islamic thought? It is called da’wah (dawa) – which is oftentimes synonymous with shariah and din (a Muslim way of life in accordance with a divine law). Da’wah generally refers to Allah’s invitation to live according to His will in the ideology of Islam. Inviting people to join Islam is an aspect of the work prescribed by da’wah. It is the camp follower of jihad. If jihad is the tool or the means, then da’wah is the idea which it serves.

With ignorance virtually institutionalized in the Western Academia after the Left’s long march through the institutions of higher learning in the Twentieth Century, we are left with the problem of the quest for true knowledge, true information, a true perspective that rests free from an agenda or ideology. How can we liberate men from ideological outlooks? How can we get men to see? How can we prevent enemies from enjoying the freedoms appropriate only for certain kinds of people? How can we make unmotivated men appreciate what they have? Why are there attacks on Western heritage and history? Why are monuments falling?

Above all, can we overcome the bitterness among the Western souls that arises from having no faith and no spiritual inspiration about anything, leading to a suicidal impulse, leading to the craving for a strong delirium which will lead people away from reality (the drug epidemic anyone?), going after a suicide. Inundating the West with Muslim immigrants is a clear suicide pact.  For this reason, it is very hard for Westerners to understand where Muslims are coming from and how their threat works. Just having the freedom to waste it on trivialities is no source of inspiration in a spiritual crisis. And besides the suicidal culture of mass entertainment, there is now the wasting of western freedoms on people who cannot appreciate it! Can the prevailing atheist outlook of the once Catholic westerners ever be moved by an inspiration worthy of the required sacrifices for the preservation of meaningful freedoms ? …. freedoms that ultimately resulted from the culture in which arose an old Medieval maxim “homo homines sancta res est” [translated in spirit as human beings are to treat each other with sacred respect] inspiring Shakespeare’s contemporary, John Donne, to compose “For Whom The Bell Tolls”, a metaphysical poem about death’s meaning … If there is no meaning then there is no fear of passing. But foreigners who are after a dualist social structure of “superior” (Muslim) – “inferior” (non-Muslim) cannot appreciate this confessional attitude towards individual self-respect, once a staple feature of Western spirituality. To them, there is only the consensus of believers that must be observed while the West used to distinguish itself by an intelligent discord between the thoughtful elective affinities of uniquely individual men. However, these days the obvious disorder in the lives of westerners with too many freedoms for which they have no meaningful purposes has served only to encourage the Muslims to act more aggressively towards the western countries.

What spiritual armaments do the westerners possess with which to confront the threat of Islam’s ideology, whose confidence is on display in statements such as this?:

“The aim of da’wah and jihaad is not to shed blood, take wealth, or enslave women and children; these things happen incidentally but are not the aim. This only takes place when the disbelievers (non-Muslims) refrain from accepting the truth and persist in disbelief and refuse to be subdued and pay the jizya (tax levied on free non-Muslims living under Muslim rule) when it is requested from them. In this case, Allah has prescribed the Muslims to kill them, take their wealth as booty and enslave their women and children . . . this religion (Islam) . . . is superior to every law and system. . . . The truth has been spread through the correct Islamic da’wah, which in turn has been aided and supported by jihaad whenever anyone stood in its way. . . . It was jihaad and da’wah together which helped to open the doors to victories.”

Maybe, Ayaan Hirsi Ali has what it takes to battle Islam from the standpoint of the defense of the West … but can she inspire the fight? Nobody alone can win a battle, let alone a war. Where are the gentlemen of the West to fight another day?

Ayaan Hirsi Ali says Australian opponents ‘carrying water’ for radical Islamists

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has hit back at a group of Australian Muslim women who accused her of being a “star” of Islamophobia and stirring up hatred.

The women took to Facebook on Monday when Hirsi Ali was due to arrive in Australia for a speaking tour that she cancelled at the last minute, citing concerns about security and the organisation of her trip.

In their video the six woman said Hirsi Ali – who was raised a Muslim but renounced her religion as an adult and became a fierce critic of radical Islamists and sharia law – was a “star of the global Islamophobia industry” and did not speak for them.

They criticised her for past descriptions of Muslim women as docile and irrational, accused her of using the language of white supremacists and profiting from “an industry that exists to dehumanise Muslim women”.

But Hirsi Ali says the women are “carrying water” for radical Islamic organisations like the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic State and Boko Haram because they have done little to defend women with few rights under Islamic law.

“I just want to point my finger at all the places in the world today where Islamic law is applied and how women are treated and I want to say to these women, ‘Shame on you’,” Hirsi Ali said on Tuesday.

“Shame on you for carrying water for the Islamists, shame on you for trying to shut people up who are trying to raise awareness about sharia law.”

Hirsi Ali also told Triple J’s Hack program that she believes Islamophobia is a “manufactured” term.

“We can’t have that open discussion, we can’t stop the injustices if we say everything is ‘Islamophobic’ and hide behind a politically correct screen,” she said. “We should not make the mistake of finding ourselves inadvertently allied with the Islamists, as these petition-signers are doing.”

Comment was being sought from a representative for the women, who posted their video message on a Facebook page titled Persons of Interest.

The US-based, Somali-born activist, who was subject to female genital mutilation as a child and became an MP in the Netherlands after seeking political asylum, has for years lived with tight security as a result of her stance on radical Islamists.

She had hoped during her visit to Australia to highlight the need for western countries to educate themselves about dawa, or how radical Islamists spread their ideology.

Hirsi Ali says while the West should continue its military battles against terrorists, it needed to focus on the spread of Islamic ideology through schools, mosques and non-government organisations that on the surface appear non-violent but ultimately act as a “conveyor belt” for violence.

She argues such organisations can flourish in western countries by exploiting laws safeguarding freedom of religion, expression and association.

“I don’t believe individuals are born wanting to join the jihad. It’s a process, a long process,” Hirsi Ali said. “Jihad does not take place without the dawa.”
