UK: Muslim leader fears anti-Muslim “backlash” after Muslim rape gang conviction

It’s a win/win for the Muslim world every time there is jihad carnage or some other Islam-inspired atrocity, such as the Muslim rape gangs in the UK. Jihad terror and Islamic savagery results in more sharia enforcement.

After every heinous Muslim attack (including September 11th), the knee-jerk response by media and cultural elites is a nonexistent “fear of reprisal” and cries of “islamophobic” tweets that offend Muslim hair-trigger sensibilities. Never does the Muslim world self-reflect. Never do Muslim leaders say, we have a problem, this is evil and we have to be good. We must expunge Islamic texts that exhort to holy war and hate, and justify the sexual enslavement of infidel girls.

No, always, it’s the same thing. Blame the victims.

Faith leaders across Newcastle have urged the public not to “cast blame on entire communities” in the wake of a police operation exposing the sexual exploitation of more than 700 victims across north-east England….

Dipu Ahad, Newcastle councillor, said local Muslims were “absolutely disgusted” by their crimes and feared a possible backlash.

“It’s not a ‘Muslim issue’ but they are mostly Muslims,” he told The Independent.

“So are Isis – they might not represent what Islam says but you can’t deny they’re Muslims.”

Mr Ahad said fellow Muslims should not feel the need to “apologise” for grooming gangs, adding: “Did the white community come out and condemn the crimes of Jimmy Savile?”…
