Texans Show Power of Individualism and Community

Conservatives believe in community, just not through government mandate. When individuals do great things, it is good for the community at-large. When Katrina slammed into New Orleans, the liberal lefties called for more government. When Harvey slammed into Texas, the Texans called for more people to do more, and more have.

This is not to say that Texas will not accept help. Trump is on the ground in Texas to provide what the federal government can provide. He’s a builder, that is what he does, and FEMA is already ready to help Houston rebuild. But, the stories coming out of Texas are amazing. Texans have been there for each other, pulling each other out of the water, and doing what they can with what they have. Human chains pulling people from houses. Helping each other with new evacuations. Boats brought in as flood waters continue to rise in West Houston. Texas has shown us the strength of individuals in America, and how to respond to one’s American brothers and sisters when they are in need.

The Lone Star State is Texas-strong. American-strong. True Hope. Texans take care of themselves, and take care of each other. God Bless Texas. Our Prayers Continue to be With You.
