Greg Hunter: Big Banks in Big Trouble, Syria/North Korea Update, Trump Tax Cuts Update - Video

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says there are nine big global banks in big financial trouble. These nine banks represent $47 trillion in assets. Gregory Mannarino of TradersChoice.net says these nine banks could all be the equivalent to Lehman Brothers that imploded the financial markets in 2008. The IMF agrees and warns it will only take one of the nine named banks to cause global “systemic stress.” Citigroup is the only U.S. bank named by the IMF as a struggling global bank.
Turkey, a NATO ally, is siding with Russia and Iran in Syria. That is going to be a big problem for the Trump Administration as the U.S. is backing the Kurds, which are an enemy of Turkey. Meanwhile, in North Korea, the signs are that a new ballistic missile test is coming. How will the Trump Administration respond?
The Trump tax cuts are facing big headwinds in Congress. Some want more cuts and some want less. Conservatives do not want the deficit to explode, and some Democrats agree. The potential Trump tax cuts are one of the big reasons the stock market is hitting new highs. Some predict if the tax cuts fail to pass, the markets will crash.

DEFINITION of ‘Gnomes Of Zurich’
A disparaging term used to describe Swiss bankers. Labor party politician George Brown coined the term in November 1964 during a meeting over the rapidly declining value of the British pound that was part of a currency crisis. British labor ministers were convinced that the foreign exchange speculation activities of Swiss banks were causing the devaluation of the sterling. The term came back into fashion in early 2010 when the global financial crisis created financial instability in Europe.
BREAKING DOWN ‘Gnomes Of Zurich’
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland and a major world financial center. Gnomes are mythical creatures that are said to live underground where they guard money. Swiss banks are known for their extreme secrecy, and they historically kept customers’ deposits in underground vaults. Thus, the term “Gnomes of Zurich” came to describe Swiss bankers.
You want to see what they may really look like? since I have never been to the Bank their I can not testify to what they do look like, but living a lifetime of things like this, I would say, this is very close if not right on.
