Mainstream Media Tries to Bury Weinstein Scandal by Pushing 7-Month Old Trump Subpoena Story as Breaking News

Last week, decades of smoke-in-mirrors gossip was finally confirmed when news broke that longtime Democratic supporter and Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is a sexual predator. Surprisingly, when the allegations surfaced, Weinstein confessed, apologized, and went to Europe for sex rehab. The Trump Administration responded by promptly opening an FBI probe to ensure Weinstein doesn’t pull a “Polanski.”

Rather than subsiding into oblivion as most news stories eventually do, the Weinstein Scandal continued to gain momentum throughout the week. This must have scared the elites, because this afternoon, Buzzfeed published an article titled, “Trump Given Subpoena For All Documents Relating to Assault Allegations.” Within a few hours, NBC News followed suit with a similar headline story, continued by other media outlets such as CNN and Slate. However, this “breaking” news story worthy of mainstream media headlines is quite old news, actually. The subpoena being discussed in their articles was issued in March of 2017 and entered into court over a month ago.

The accuser is a former Apprentice cast member named Summer Zervos. Her subpoena demands that the Trump campaign hand over “all documents concerning any woman who asserted that Donald J. Trump touched her inappropriately.” The subpoena also demands “all documents related to the Access Hollywood tape” where Trump states he grabbed a woman’s private area with her consent (the slanderous media likes to deceive the public into thinking that this is sexual assault. Touching a person with their consent is actually the opposite of assault. The first element of assault is touching another without their consent). Zervos’ case against Trump is currently awaiting the Judge’s decision on whether or not it will be dismissed; that will be the beginning of the legal baseline to determine whether or not the subpoena will move forward. As of right now, there is no trial date.

In the event the Judge does not dismiss Zervos’ civil case against Trump in its entirety, it is unlikely that the subpoena will stand as it is now. Subpoenas cannot be overly broad, because like search warrants, they are not intended to be used as licenses to build a case in a rogue fishing escapade for evidence. In other words, there has to be at least some connection between the information sought and what the plaintiff’s case alleges. The plaintiff’s attorney has made no argument as to why her client should have unbridled access into the internal documents dealing with other women and a tape that has nothing to do with her allegations. As it stands, it is unlikely any court (aside from the 9^th Circuit, of course) will be able to legally grant her access to the information.

To be blunt, this afternoon’s appearance of Trump subpoena stories is pathetic. The news media knows this; they have legal analysts on staff. Here is an in-depth NBC legal write-up defending Weinstein that was published immediately after the accusations broke last week.

But when it comes to anti-Trumpers, we have to remember that we are not dealing with rational humans. The media, much like Hollywood, is in large part filled with empty vessels being used as pawns by the left, and America is not responding well to the media or the 50+ A-list celebrities who are now speaking out against the Weinstein allegations. In this eNews Instagram post, nearly all of the 350 comments are extremely negative towards both Hollywood and the media. The media and Hollywood are in a symbiotic relationship with each other, and both know their game manipulating the public for their own ulterior motives is nearing its end. Many celebrities have come out to state that the Weinstein story is just the tip, and Hollywood is quite literally about to implode on itself. It is no wonder then why burying the Weinstein story by any desperate attempt possible is paramount for both Hollywood and the media at this time.

If it is true that Weinstein is just the beginning of the crumbling house of cards, what does that mean for Washington’s elites? Since the 2016 election cycle, it is abundantly clear that Hollywood and Democratic are inexplicably intertwined. Meaning, one entity cannot crumble without bringing the other down with it. Weinstein is a longtime friend of both the Clinton and Obama families, and in fact, Malia Obama interned for Weinstein during her gap year between high school and Harvard. Michelle Obama can be seen here praising the pervert for being such a close family friend.

Democrats have a history of surrounding themselves with sexual predators. Jacob Schwartz, who is both a former aide to New York City Mayor (and big time anti-Trumper) Bill de Blasio and former Obama campaign organizer, was arrested after the FBI found over 3000 images and 80 videos with children as young as six months old on his electronic devices. Jeffrey Epstein, who is the son of Bear Stearns chairman Alan Greenberg, was arrested in 2008 for soliciting underage girls for prostitution. He now lives in the U.S. Virgin Islands after serving 13 months in federal prison and is a convicted sex offender for life. New Jersey Senator Bob Mendez is currently on trial for the solicitation of underage girls in the Dominican Republic. Anthony Weiner, Bill Clinton, the list goes on…

Only time (and possibly Wikileaks) will tell us what exactly the truth is behind Hollywood, predators, the media, and the Democratic Party. But if the past few years of living through American mainstream media has taught me anything, it is that the laughable attempt by the mainstream media to push a seven-month old story against Trump as breaking news means whatever they are trying to hide would utterly devastate them if released.
