I have some thoughts about the Las Vegas mass shooting that you may find interesting. If so, you may put them in the alerts section if you deem them worthy of publication. I am a general surgeon and have taken care of many trauma patients.Regarding the Las Vegas shooting, I have not seen anyone else mention this strange statistic. The official death toll as of October 17, is still 59. We were told that on October 1st, a lone gunman killed 58 and wounded 512 or thereabouts. The shooter’s death brought the total death count to 59. Steve, if there were over 500 wounded, certainly the death toll would have risen by now. Granted, many of the wounded would not have been wounded by actual gunfire, but if 58 people were killed by high velocity, military type rounds, it is very safe to say that at least that many, and probably many more, were wounded by those same high velocity rounds. So let us assume a very conservative estimate of 58 people wounded by high power, high velocity, military type rounds. There would have been many head, neck, chest, and abdominal wounds in that group, all with a significant risk of mortality. It is almost absurd that NONE of the wounded would have died by
now. Perhaps, the additional deaths have not been reported – unlikely in my opinion, or perhaps it is just monumental good fortune, but something is amiss in this story.

Yeah, don’t hear much about the 58 shot. Heck, hardly hear about the wounded. Even the narrative seems to be quiet now. Just a funny-looking security guard going on a lesbian show.
Well, just let me tell YOU something Dr. Ron! I think that you are
most absolutely right. With a number of wounded as high as 500
people, you would expect that perhaps maybe as low as 1 or 2
percent would end up being fatalities. Thank God that hasn’t happened
but you would sure think that it would.
It is better to phone the Hospital yourself, than take a word of a “fictional” surgeon.

FUNERALS? If I lived in Vegas I go to every one of the supposed wakes & funerals, find out who allegedly died, and investigate everyone of them. As we saw in Sandyhoax, there were many paid Crisis Actors, only one coffin open with a cloth covering face, and the kid (NP)that was supposedly there and he was killed a second time in the Mid-East. Come on America WAKE UP!!!
Only three of the dead victims were from Vegas. The funerals were spread all across the country. Mostly in California, but everywhere else.
Chuckie “Hart” had his funeral the other day in Vegas. Literally thousands showed up for it. Traffic was stopped everywhere in Vegas for this. He was off duty and was shot in the neck.
I find it a bit strange that UMC, which is a trauma center has no more injured at the hospital while a couple other hospitals still has a few and at least one in critical each. I would think UMC would have received the worst cases.
