Jayda Fransen, Deputy Leader of Britain First, Arrested for Speech

Britons must have believed that prevailing against the Nazis had secured political freedom for future generations. Tragically, that freedom has been eroded by a more insidious enemy, political correctness. Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of Britain First, has been arrested in London by the Police Service of Northern Ireland:

She has been charged with using “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour”.

Most likely, her actual crime is what authoritarian leftists call “Islamophobia.”

The charge relates to a speech made at a “Northern Ireland Against Terrorism” rally at Belfast City Hall in August.

What she said that was so threatening, abusive, or insulting that she should be arrested 3 months later and dragged back to Northern Ireland is unclear. Unless she was directly inciting violence, she is essentially a political prisoner.
