"Who Stole Feminism?" and "The War Against Boys."

Andrew talks about the meme on the Left that became their talking point after the Texas Shootings: people were praying in the church when they got shot, so what good does it do to pray?

Christina Hoff Sommers is a guest. She is the author of “Who Stole Feminism?” and “The War Against Boys.” She hosts a YouTube blog called The Factual Feminist. She believes the war against boys is still going on in our schools, and boys are still falling behind. There are few efforts to strengthen them, unlike the efforts that were made to strengthen girls in math and science.

She says there is now a kind of vigilante feminism loose on campus where men are guilty because accused. S small but very vocal group of women see themselves as victims and have a very negative view of masculinity. They take one too many of the gender studies classes which are male phobic. “Fainting couch feminists” want protection from men. They will take the worst case offender and hold him up as though he is exemplary of the entire gender. Andrew describes himself as old-fashioned masculinity and he wonders why there were no boyfriends or husbands punching Harvey Weinstein’s lights out! Christina agrees: “All the moralizers in Hollywood telling the rest of us how to live, yet they did nothing about this criminal predatory behavior!”

Andrew asks her as a parent what does she teach boys. She says “first of all, it is a mistake to think you can turn them into girls!” “Teach them to be kind and considerate and respectful.”
