58 Days Left and Counting Downward Toward Global Warming Armageddon

Even a raving lunatic might accidentally stumble upon the truth. Take for example Washington Governor Jay Inslee:

Another hysterical nutcase, right? You probably thing Inslee is about as credible as zillionaire hoax profiteer Al Gore barking that the extreme cold recently gripping most of the country was caused by global warming.

But don’t be so fast to judge.

I just checked the local forecast on AccuWeather. Enslee made his doomsday prediction yesterday. It hit 80° here in Phoenix, but it was an unusually nice day. The high should have been 66°, according to the historical average.

However, it will be getting far warmer. Fifty-nine days from yesterday is March 9. No one can say what the temperature will be 2 months in advance, but the average high for that day is 75°.

If we use the yesterday’s theoretical temperature of 66°, this represents a rise of 9° in only 59 days, signifying climatic catastrophe.

Follow the trajectory. In another 59 days, it will be 84°. Then 93°. In a year, the temperature will have risen to almost 122°!

Clearly, at this point we are doomed. But if we submit to a massive carbon tax as Inslee demands, at least we can tell our children that we tried.
