Unhappy conservatives generally believe they are unhappy because life is inherently difficult and tragic, and because they have made some unwise decisions in life.
But unhappy liberals generally believe they are unhappy because they have been persecuted.

Just as I believe in individual responsibility, I believe that nations and their people must at some point be responsible for themselves. Moreover, I would be happy to export to them my winning values — hard work, education if possible, marriage, honesty, etc. — except that I’m told I can’t do that because . . . racism, colonialism, cultural appropriation, microaggressions, macroaggressions, toxic whiteness, cultural relativism, and all of the other Leftist shibboleths that destroy healthy societies and keep unhealthy societies in a permanent state of sickness.

Dividing everything into “left” and ‘right” is the vehicle for our current political nightmare.
Not everything is entirely “liberal” or “conservative”.
I am opposed to abortion. That makes me a conservative.
BUT , I am opposed to the government sticking its’ nose into peoples private lives and trying to be the morality police. That makes me a lefty.
I believe what consenting adults do in private is none of the governments business. That makes me a lefty.
But, I believe being queer is a sin, and that in as much as I accept sinners and would defend their right to do behind closed doors as they wish, I wish not to be exposed to their sin and will never consider it normal behavior. That makes me a righty.
I believe in immigration. That makes me a lefty.
I believe that someone coming within our borders without permission is NOT immigration, it is invasion and criminal. That makes me a righty.
The fact is, there are those alive today who actually are neither because they think for themselves.
I believe in democrat economic policies. But I believe in most republican social issue stances.
I believe the police should be policed by outside investigators. That makes me a lefty.
I believe that if a cop has to shoot some ghetto rats ass to death that is resisting arrest, then so be it. That makes me a righty.
I’ve been called a “liberal” ( or other childish juvenile ephemisms) by right wing nut cases, and Archie Bunker by hedonist leftys.
As long as we stay a public so simple minded as to sum everything up in “left” or “right” nothing will change.
As long as people tune into AM talk radio and NPR to get their brainwashing, shit just will not change.
