Schumer Tries to Block District Court Judge Explicitly for Being White

Racism is every bit as appalling as liberals say, if it means someone would be denied a position for no reason other than his race:

The Senate confirmed one of President Trump’s judicial nominees Thursday despite Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer’s attempt to foil the nominee because of his race.

Marvin Quattlebaum was confirmed to the U.S. District Court in South Carolina by a vote of 69 to 28.

Mr. Schumer said Mr. Quattlebaum was taking the seat on a court which had been left vacant after Republican senators halted two African-American nominees picked by President Obama.

Quattlebaum being white does not promote diversity; therefore, the most powerful Democrat in the Senate voted no. Per Schumer, being a person of politically preferred pigmentation is the main qualification for a district court judge.

When liberals extol “diversity,” what that effectively means is that they want to punish people for being white.
