ATF Loses Guns
Unless their Second Amendment stance is simply malevolent, liberals must believe that if the government denies lawful citizens their inalienable right to bear arms, criminals will not have access to firearms. Presumably, the ATF will see to that. How embarrassing when the ATF loses guns:
More than 23 firearms issued for agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were either […] lost or stolen between 2014 and 2017, a government watchdog reported Monday.
At least one of them has been used in a crime.
Now for the good news:
Inspector General Michael Horowitz noted that the number of guns lost during those years was “a substantial improvement” compared to what auditors found in 2008.
If it keeps improving, theoretically the government could one day reach the point where it does not lose any guns. Then utopia will be achievable, because when guns are banned, criminals will never attain them. After all, criminals never obtain heroin or cocaine except when it is misplaced by the police, right?
