Iran and Pakistan plot to become MAJOR allies as they promise a ‘BIG CHANGE’ is coming

PAKISTAN and Iran could soon become major strategic allies after representatives from both countries met and agreed a trade deal, it has been reported.

Dr Kamal Kharrazi, Iran’s Head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, has said the two counties have close religious and cultural bonds and should continue to work together.

Talk of improvement in diplomatic ties between the neighbours as well as potential economic deals means the pair could become important strategic allies in the future.

Dr Kharrazi said: “A free trade agreement is under negotiation, and if successful, there will come a big change.”

Both countries are currently involved in vicious conflicts and may act to support one another going forwards the politician implied.

Iran is engulfed in a bitter power struggle with Saudi Arabia, while Pakistan continues to fight with India over a border dispute.

A proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia has been fought in Yemen over the past three years which the Saudis are said to be losing.

More than 90 missile strikes have been launched by the Iran backed Houthi rebels during the war.
Meanwhile, heavy exchanges of shelling on the contested border of India and Pakistan, known as the Line of Control (LoC), have increased over the past 12 months.

The Indo-Pakistani Wars of 1947 and 1965 both revolved around competing claims for the area.
A cease-fire is technically in place but it is broken on a daily basis.
Skirmishes over the border risk turning into a full blown conflict as the countries fight over contested land.

Both countries have accused the other of being responsible.

Dr Kharrazi said he was hoping to work with other Muslim countries in the coming months in order support one another.

If Iran and Pakistan do join forces and help back each other in their respective conflicts, the new allies could become a force to be retconned with is Asia.
