On religious grounds, I am opposed to abortion.
However, I am also opposed to big nanny government as well as governments imposing religious ideals on their citizens.
The same freedoms that allow me to practice Christianity allow others not to.
Governments need to stay out of peoples personal and religious lives, and any way you look at it, abortion is a religious issue.
I would just as soon the whole world be ruled by the religious faith that I subscribe to. But that is just not how the world works. I would no sooner impose my religious tenets and ideals on you than I would have you impose yours on me.
