Hate Hoax by Local NAACP President Exposed by Bodycam Video

Bodycams are not helping the cause of social justice. Just the other day, we heard of a perfectly good hate hoax ruined because an officer’s bodycam revealed a tale of racist oppression to be yet another lie. Here we go again; a bodycam has foiled the president of the Timmonsville, South Carolina chapter of the NAACP:

The Rev. Jerrod Moultrie, whose Facebook page says he is still the chapter’s president, posted on April 13 that he was racially profiled by a Timmonsville officer because he was “driving a Mercedes Benz and going home in a nice neighborhood.”

The now-deleted Fakebook post claimed the officer asked whether he had drugs in the car.

According to Moultrie’s post, the officer then says “Ok, where you work and who car is this and why you in this neighborhood.” Moultrie tells the officer where his house is located and that he is a pastor, the post said. The officer responds by saying, “And I am the Bill Gates,” according to Moultrie’s Facebook post.

Heaven help Timmonsville if local police really talked like cognitively challenged rap performers. They do not, as the video below attests.

Fumed Moultrie:

“Guess I can’t be a pastor and can’t drive a Mercedes Benz and live in a nice neighborhood. Well you know as president of Timmonsville NAACP he stop the wrong car tonight cause someone needs to answer for this behavior…”

Too bad Moultrie doesn’t answer for his fraudulent behavior. At least the bodycam exposed him as a crybully liar.

There was no mention of drugs in the body cam video. Miles did not question Moultrie about why he was in that particular neighborhood or make any mention of Bill Gates.

The only significant similarity between actual events and Moultrie’s phony story was that he was advised not to drive the car until he sorted out the documentation, since the registration was associated with a different vehicle.

Timmonsville Police Chief Billy Brown explains why incidents like this need to be made public:

“I think by him being the president of NAACP for the Timmonsville area, that it needs to be out to the public for the simple reason, if and when something else happens, they need to be able to look at the credibility of who’s presenting it,” Brown said.

The same goes for everyone else on the Hate Hoax List.

At this point, whole classes of privileged “victims” have lost credibility. When they whimper menacingly about incidents of oppression, skepticism is highly advisable in the absence of evidence.
