FreedomWorks Statement on Confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the Senate’s confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“Today is a great day for the U.S. Constitution, limited government, and the American rule of law. I have no doubt that Judge Kavanaugh will be an outstanding member of the Supreme Court.

“Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation restores balance and gives me hope that the court will take on the administrative state and return power to the American people instead of deferring it to unelected bureaucrats.

“Judge Kavanaugh has shown us time and time again that he will interpret the Constitution as written. He is a Supreme Court Justice who explicitly respects established precedent, even on issues he may personally disagree with. Judge Kavanaugh will make an excellent, independent jurist.”

In the week before his confirmation, FreedomWorks brought 2,000 activists to DC from across the country to rally in support of Judge Kavanaugh and key senators.
