In 2017, I was wrongfully accused of being “suicidal” by a man with whom I had a failed business relationship AND with whom I did not get along with. As a result of that, the Wichita, Kansas police department ARRESTED me, handcuffed me & I spent 6 days in a personal hell (called a psych ward) ran by Ascension Via Christi in Wichita. As a result of this, I NOW have a police record AND have not been able to find a doctor who will treat me. The worst part of the whole mess is this: my elderly Mother, as a result of the stress this caused her, DIED from a stroke as a result of this mess. But, because of a legal doctrine called ‘QUALIFIED IMMUNITY”, the police are totally protected against legal action, even though they did not perform due diligence and find out that the man who made the false allegation WAS MENTALLY ILL AND MEDICATED AT THE TIME HE MADE THE PHONE CALL TO THE POLICE. My life will **NEVER** BE THE SAME. Ever.
