Pro-Hamas Mob Protests at New Jersey Synagogue

It was an ugly scene on April 1 as a pro-Hamas mob turned out to protest in front of a synagogue in Teaneck, New Jersey. Pro-Israel supporters, who had learned of the planned demonstration, also turned out in numbers, and police had their hands full keeping the two groups apart. Legal Insurrection has videos.

The videos speak for themselves, but I have two points to make: First, it is pretty hard to argue that your protest has nothing to do with anti-Semitism when you hold your protest in front of a synagogue. Pro-Israel Jewish groups, to my knowledge, do not protest in front of mosques.

Secondly, as the videos show, the pro-Israel supporters routinely turn out with both Israeli and American flags, while the pro-Palestinians show up with almost exclusively Palestinian flags, with a smattering of flags from other Muslim countries, but no US flags. That should speak volumes.
