Hi-res Altgens Photo of JFK Assassination and Proof of MSM Lies from Day One

Over at WRH’s JFK page we find a couple photos that make some things very clear:

1. The MSM has been FABRICATING lies since the very beginning in order to help SELL the official story of the JFK assassination to the general public and
2. There may actually be a photo of Lee Harvey Oswald watching from the doorway as Kennedy was shot.

Neither of these are ground breaking revelations, but it’s still interesting to see the level of deceit with which the “news” will stoop in order to support those who actually murdered a seated U.S. president.

Like Dan Rather telling the population back in ’63 that he saw the Zapruter film and it shows the president getting hit and his head jerking forward and down (as opposed to the truth of it showing his head jerking back and to the left consistent with a shot from the front right), Ben H. Bagdikian punched his ticket to press stardom by fabricating a bit of history himself with an article he penned on Dec. 14th 1963 called “The Assassin” for the Saturday Evening Post.

It’s hard to find copies of that particular piece of media propaganda mainly because the Post may have accidentally published a photo of Lee Harvey Oswald standing in the doorway to the Texas Schoolbook Depository at the moment JFK was shot. The image was taken by AP photographer James Altgens and published on page 24 and 25 of that edition of the Post. Below is a high resolution version of that photo with a few captions pointing out some rather interesting elements of it. Click on image for larger view.

What you see is the moment JFK is reaching for his throat, having been shot in the neck already and what appears to be Lee Harvey Oswald standing in the doorway of the depository building watching it all unfold like everyone else.

Obviously, if that is Oswald, he couldn’t have been the shooter.

But that’s not the reason I posted this article today.

I want to point out another photo published in that same POST which accompanied the Ben H. Bagdikian article found on page 22. Take a look.

What you are supposed to be seeing is the view from the 6th floor of the depository building where Oswald shot the president from an open window that day.

What you will find if you compare the photos, is that the one purportedly taken from the 6th floor of that building, is actually taken from the 2nd floor of the building across the street and behind the presidential motorcade. It’s not a question. It’s obvious.

If you go back and look at the Altgens photo you notice two things I pointed out:

1. The street sign and the dark sign above it with the tapered corners
2. The open window at the exact same height

It would appear that they took this photo from the window that is actually open in the Altgens photo showing the moment Kennedy was shot then they lied about it claiming to a mourning nation that it was from the 6th floor of the building which you can actually see in the photo to the right.

If you want one final bit of proof, here is a current Google Street View image of Dealy Plaza as it is today. I took this from their Street View app from a relatively similar position as the window would have been back in 1963. Notice something?

That’s right, the monument and steps are in almost the exact same location in both photos adding still more proof the picture published in the POST in 1963 was a lie.

They had to take that photo from a lower angle because it was very important at the time (and still is if you listen to idiots like Tom Hanks) to bolster the Magic Bullet theory (one bullet created 7 wounds)

From that low trajectory, it appears possible that one shot could have hit both the president and the governor whereas if you look out the 6th floor of the depository, it’s obvious that one bullet traveling at that downward angle, could not have done that.

They also had to get the image underneath the foliage of the tree that you can clearly see is in the way. The one seen in the Altgen pic.

Ironically, the Google Street View image is almost at the exact same height as the bullshit image they used as the cover image of the JFK story back in 1963. If you’ve seen one of those cars they use to film the roads, you will understand that the camera sits on top of the vehicle. It would be close to the level of a second story window.

Upon further examination of simple facts, we are left with no doubt that the POST used an image taken from a different location in order to prove Oswald killed JFK on Dec. 22nd, 1963. The image was taken from the open 2nd story window of the Daltex building shown in the Altgens photo.

It would be highly unlikely that the open window shown in the Altgens photo was actually the 2nd sniper location in the turkey shoot though as it was such a low trajectory, it would have been almost impossible to pick off the president without hitting the governor seated in front of him in the head as well.

However, that said… look at this shot from that same Google Street View location:

That’s the overpass buttress where a witness was hit with a fragment of the stonework when a bullet struck it during the shooting. Clearly, this is the only location for a shooter to be in which could explain that little trick.

I know this article hasn’t really provided any new evidence on the murder of a seated president and the MSM’s cowardice and complicity in the matter, but I thought I would put it out there for you guys to have a look at.
