The “Greatest Man of Our Generation” Wants Endless War

What does it say about us as a society when the “greatest man of our generation” is a monster? Have we become Hitler’s willing executioners or something much, much worse?

Today the focus is on President Obama’s request for more endless wars of aggression, stretching across all national, intellectual and moral boundaries. Or, as President Peace Prize himself put it in his new request, “enduring offensive ground combat operations.”

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday that the language in the resolution is “intentionally” fuzzy to ensure there aren’t “overly burdensome constraints” on the president as he responds to unexpected events. TIME

Why hamstring the “greatest man of our generation” with troublesome constraints when he wishes to impose war anywhere and anytime he sees fit? Why indeed. Because he is the “greatest man of this generation” and that is tragically true.

• Why constrain a man who uses drones to kill children?
• Why constrain a man who uses cruise missiles and cluster bombs to kill 23 children in one strike?
• Why constrain a man who uses drones to kill a bride on her way to her wedding?
• Why constrain a man who decimated the Paris of Africa on behalf of his billionaire friends?
• Why constrain a man who is currently arming terrorists in Syria because he doesn’t like the elected government?
• Why constrain a man who is currently working as hard as he can to kill a peace process in Ukraine?

There are all kinds of questions one can ask regarding why one should constrain such a man but perhaps the best answers to that question come from the “greatest man of our generation” himself:

• Bemoaning an amendment that he believed would put the U.S. on a war footing with Iran, Obama warned in an October 2007 speech that thinly tailored legal rationales would be exploited by whoever resided in the Oval Office. “George Bush and Dick Cheney could use this language to justify keeping our troops in Iraq as long as they can point to a threat from Iran,” he said. “I don’t want to give this president any excuse or any opening for war. Because as we learned with the authorization of the Iraq War, when you give this president a blank check, you can’t be surprised when he cashes it.”

• Speaking to Larry King in March 2007, Obama described his famous 2002 anti-Iraq War speech as a stand not just against that war but against an “open-ended commitment without any clear strategy for success.”

• At a foreign policy speech at DePaul University in October 2007, he lashed out at the Bush administration, the media and the “majority of a Congress” that “voted to give the president the open-ended authority to wage war that he uses to this day.”

• At a virtual town hall meeting in April 2007, he said he drew his early opposition to the Iraq War from the belief that “if we gave open-ended authority … we would have an open-ended occupation of the sort that we have right now. And I have stated clearly and unequivocally that that open-ended occupation has to end.”

All he needs are some fake beheading videos and a few screeching leftie talking heads (Maddow, Schultz, Goodman, Stewart) and he is primed and ready to use lethal force  (our beloved weapons of mass destruction and those heroic soldiers we employ to use them) on any and all civilian populations that don’t conform to our mandated system of economic reforms. This, he claims, is simply “twisting arms” to get what we want like when a bully in a school yard twists some small child’s arm to extract his lunch money.

President Barack Obama has said the reality of “American leadership” at times entails “twisting the arms” of states which “don’t do what we need them to do,” and that the US relied on its military strength and other leverage to achieve its goals…

… In the president’s view, the reality of those threats has compelled the US to have “the strongest military in the world.” Obama further says that “we occasionally have to twist the arms of countries that wouldn’t do what we need them to do if it weren’t for the various economic or diplomatic or, in some cases, military leverage that we had — if we didn’t have that dose of realism, we wouldn’t get anything done, either.” RT

Yes, the Miracle of Chile has come to America under the appropriate left cover of the President of CHANGE and now he is diligently working to spread it’s influence across the weaker nations of the world, those that cannot defend themselves against all of his “goodness”

But it doesn’t always work out that way, does it?

On the one year anniversary of opposition violence that gripped Venezuela on February 12, 2014, the government in Caracas announced it had dismantled a violent coup plot. The plotters had planned to overthrow the elected government of President Nicolas Maduro with a campaign of violence, including mass killings and tactical bombardment of strategic sites across Caracas. When the dust cleared, they expected key government officials including Maduro to be dead, and the country firmly in their control. The plot failed, after the government says they uncovered it and arrested ringleaders. teleSUR

Sometimes the bully gets beaten up by the little kid in the Disney movie and we are all supposed to cheer because after all, we are the nation of “freedom” and “justice”

But no one in the MSM is cheering today for Venezuela after they successfully defeated the greatest man of our generation’s carefully laid plans for color revolution and regime change. In fact, CNN stands by their bully 100%

Years ago I wrote Barack Obama is not the greatest man of our generation but article was based possibly on a flawed assumption.

I had assumed our generation wasn’t made up of Mammon worshiping monsters, sycophantic cowards and idol worshiping willful idiots who’s primary mantra is “go along to get along” or better still… “ignorance is bliss”

“Worst (period) Generation (period) Ever (period)”

Today, I announce, I stand corrected. Perhaps I was living in the past.
