Here’s How WW III Could Start

“Here’s How WW III Could Start”
by Brian Maher

“The date: Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010

The place: Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, three miles west of Cheyenne. Home of the Air Force’s 90th Missile Wing – and its 150 nuclear Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles Launch crews stood vigil at their posts that routine Saturday in October. They always do, each and every hour of the 24, 12 months of the calendar… awaiting the signal.

The doomsday signal to unleash their Armageddon fires. But that one October Saturday… something went wrong. Dangerously wrong.

Suddenly, no warning, 50 Minutemen just vanished from the monitors. Poof! Gone. What happened? Was it a glitch? No one knew. But this they did know: They were suddenly unable to perform their one and only duty – to launch the birds upon presidential order. They might as well have been dead. But wait. An even more disturbing question started gathering circulation. Did some doomsday hacker take control of the nukes, to launch himself?

Bruce Blair is a former nuclear missile-control launch officer, USAF. His article, “Why Our Nuclear Weapons Can Be Hacked,” ran in this Tuesday’s New York Times. And according to him, on that fearful October Saturday, Warren’s missile men feared someone may have breached the firewalls.
Blair says hackers are constantly trying to worm our nuclear systems.

As Blair explains, “The missiles were designed to fire instantly as soon as they received a short stream of computer code, and they are indifferent about the code’s source.” “For all the crews knew,” he continues, raising our hair, “someone had put all 50 missiles into countdown to launch.” Sweat ran in rivers…

“It was a harrowing scene,” Blair reports, “and apprehension rippled all the way to the White House.” For nearly an hour, the monitors remained dark.

At any time, the silo lids could fling open, the rockets ignite, and the missiles fly. And once launched, there was no bringing them back. But then, finally, they figured it out… A bum circuit card in some computer caused the lockout. Crisis averted. This time…

But the incident prompted a harsh examination. And Blair says it exposed a fatal hole in the system, a hole wide enough for a wiggling hacker.

The exam revealed that miscreant hackers could indeed breach the missiles’ internet connections and shut down the missiles’ flight guidance systems. That would take the Minutemen out of commission for days or weeks. During which time they’d be sitting ducks.

But this has Blair posing this nail-biter: “Could a launch be set off by false early warning data that had been corrupted by hackers?” (Remember “WarGames”?)

After all, as Blair reminds us, “the president has only three–six minutes to decide how to respond to an apparent nuclear attack.” Gnawing his cuticles, Blair answers his own question: “We don’t know.” That’s just it. We don’t know. Not according to this former missile guy.

Blair says much of the hardware and software for these systems comes right off the shelf from commercial sources. And it could easily be infected by no-good malware. This lax security “invites an attempt at an attack with catastrophic consequences.”

Now, Trump’s repeatedly raised the issue of cybersecurity (as you may have heard). And you can bet high that nuclear cybersecurity will get a good hearing. See the proposed spending increase for the National Nuclear Security Administration below as other agencies get the knife:
Man alive, McDonald’s, hacked.

We can only wonder… Is anyone safe from these devils?”

VERY Scary !!! The USAF NEEDS a MAJOR update to ALL of the hardware and software in their system ESPECIALLY for all of it that’s dedicated to their nukes !!! They need software in particular that is Completely secure , unhackable and designed for and dedicated ONLY to THEIR programs and protocol and NO one else !!!

The real enemy is already well entrenched within the gates……it’s the deep state Luciferians. You can see how hopeless cleaning the swamp seems to be. The Tares are everywhere, in our midst.

There are so many details that are incorrect in this story that it’s pretty obvious that the author has no idea what they’re talking about.

None of the ICBM launch systems are connected to the internet in any way. Most systems are very archaic and would be very difficult (if not impossible) to hack (externally) simply because they’re so old/primitive – and EMP hardened. There is no “Operating System” like Windows or Unix to exploit – everything is hard-coded and some changes have to be made mechanically – as in a guy standing there with a specialized piece of equipment. Launch doors don’t “flip” open – they are pulled off the launch silo sideways – on a set of tracks – very violently. A 150 ton door is pulled to clear a 20′ hole in 1/10th of a second. Additionally, F.E.Warren AFB’s missile wing does NOT field Minuteman III’s – they house Peacekeepers – a *totally* different weapon system.

If there were some kind of danger of unauthorized launch, it would be an internal threat where someone inside the system figured out an exploit. Shy of some unknown “alien” technology hijacking the hardened cabling going to the launch sites (and sending the correct codes) or somehow taking over the missile and other mechanical ground equipment directly, the idea of someone externally launching the missiles is pretty “out there”. We have a lot more to worry about in the Neocons and Zionists that infest our government and military-industrial complex. Just research “The Sampson Option” and you’ll see how batshit crazy the Zionsts are.

….There was an incident, however, where a missile silo was temporarily shut down by a “UFO” at F.E.Warren – I want to say back in the early 80′s (?)

Why does all this have to be on the internet? Why not cut all internet ties to these bunkers and run deep harde lines to each set up with its own power source that is in off position until needed. Or why is there not a laser set up that will in addition notify the bunkers to release? There are many other sources that can be identified to be used instead of a computer attached to the internet making it vulnerable to hacking. In fact I would pull all military off the internet maybe even setting up our own shielded “system type” internet that only the US military is on and can be used that has no ties to the existing internet. Don’t tell me with all the technical development in today’s world this cannot be done.
