James Comey’s Explanation of the Clinton Emails on Weiner’s Computer is Total Absolute Bunk

FBI Director James Comey testified before the senate yesterday about a number of issues including his release of the Oct. 28th letter stating he was re-opening the case against Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private server to handler all of her State Department communications. His testimony was chocked full of non-answers to direct questions due to “national security” and other such non-sense. Many others have accurately pointed these out which I will provide some links to later. One of the most notable discoveries yesterday that Comey refused to talk about in public was the revelation that AG Loretta Lynch appears to have been mentioned in an email saying to someone that she would only allow the then ongoing investigation into Hillary’s use of an illegal server to go “so far”

During Russia’s hacking campaign against the United States, intelligence agencies could peer, at times, into Russian networks and see what had been taken. Early last year, F.B.I. agents received a batch of hacked documents, and one caught their attention.

The document, which has been described as both a memo and an email, was written by a Democratic operative who expressed confidence that Ms. Lynch would keep the Clinton investigation from going too far, according to several former officials familiar with the document…

If Ms. Lynch announced that the case was closed, and Russia leaked the document, Mr. Comey believed it would raise doubts about the independence of the investigation. New York Times

As we all know, Comey famously ended that investigation on July 5th, right before Hillary stole the nomination from Sanders voters on July 26th  and right after Bill Clinton met with AG Lynch on her plane for 30 minutes on June 29th.  And in late 2015, we now know, Lynch instructed Comey to quit referring to his investigation in Clinton as an “investigation” in public.

Clearly the fix was in very early on from the highest reaches of the Obama Justice Department… and it never ended, in my opinion.

What I wanted to discuss a little further are Dir. Comey’s assertions about the laptop that they received at the FBI during their investigation of Anthony Weiner’s sexually explicit online communications he had with someone who was found to be a minor. There are several things that make no sense.

According to Comey, Huma Abadin, Hillary Clinton’s longtime trusted personal assistant, forwarded several thousand official State Department emails to Anthony Weiner, her husband, for him to print for her so she could give them to Hillary Clinton. Some of those emails, according to Comey, were marked as classified.

Dir Comey then explained why he didn’t prosecute Huma for mishandling classified material. His explanation of that decision was beyond weak.

It is true, he acknowledged, that ignorance of the law does not make someone immune from it but he said, he didn’t know of anyone who was ever prosecuted after they claimed they didn’t know sending important classified material to someone with no clearance to handle such information on an unsecured system was a violation of the law.

That is remarkably dishonest on many levels. Aside from that, doesn’t he worry it sets a really bad precedent?

Regardless of that, Huma and the entire State Department staff had to attend classes on how to properly handle classified documents and emails, did they not? So, pretending Huma didn’t know what she was supposedly doing was a crime is an untenable explanation for the Director of the FBI, in my opinion.

Not only that but… since when does the State Department need a third party to print documents?

Don’t they have a secured system by which they can do that? They had better.

The entire story makes no sense at all. Not only his refusal to prosecute her, but also the act itself.

Wasn’t Anthony Weiner working at the time? And how is it that she thought sending documents to Weiner to print for Hillary would save time in the first place? Huma was with Hillary 24/7 while Weiner was back in D.C.  How the hell was he supposed to get the documents to them from there?

The story is ridiculous and Comey’s explanation of his reasons for not prosecuting Huma are even more laughable.

Then you look at the facts on the ground on Oct. 27thish. Comey made his announcement on the 28th because, he says, they came to him with information on the laptop and “metadata” that showed communications, “thousands of them”, that belonged to the State Department. According to Comey, they had to get a warrant to read them, but in fact, Weiner OFFERED UP the laptop as part of an attempt to cut a deal with the Feds, so as an offered bit of intel, they didn’t need a warrant. Not only that, but Comey now says the laptop was “seized” in the search of Weiner’s home during the other investigation… for which there was already a warrant. So why the new one? It makes no sense.

Comey goes on to say he had a choice… keep this a secret and risk the reputation of the FBI’s integrity (which is a joke in itself after all the terror attacks they thwarted after they created them themselves, all done under Comey’s watch, by the way… and after the Bill & Loretta meeting and his giving Hillary a pass) or go public with the new information right before the election.

Let me tell you this… they read those damn emails. Had there been nothing on that computer that further incriminated Hillary Clinton, they would never have even considered it a problem in the first place. Comey knew what he was suddenly sitting on and he was caught between a rock and a hard place. Had he squashed the investigation, he himself could be looking at serious time. So he reacted the only way he could.

As you can see, Dir. Comey’s official version of events as told by Dir. Comey yesterday makes no sense. None. It’s laughable. It’s an insult to our collective intelligence.

On the other hand, here’s a story that make sense. Try this one on for size.

Weiner offers up the laptop late into his negotiations with the Feds.

Huma Abadin admitted during her testimony to congress that Hillary and she had made a hard copy of all the files on her illegal server right after she left office. Huma said it was so Hillary could “write a book” in the future. Just the other day, Hillary talked about her currently “writing a book”

That hard copy back-up was put on a laptop by the company who set up her illegal server.

That’s the laptop Weiner gave the Feds in order to avoid going to prison as a child sexual predator.

Huma Abadin had no reason to ever send her pedophile husband any classified emails or any other State Department emails… ever. And she’s not dumb enough to be ignorant of the law or to violate it for no good reason. Plus, she already knew what her perv husband was doing in his spare time. Does Dir. Comey think we are too stupid to figure that one out?

Comey could not tell congress or the public he had the Holy Grail of the missing Clinton emails in that computer because he is still covering for the Clinton Royal Family… so he made up the story about Huma forwarding them to Weiner so he could print them.

And it’s a stupid story.

That’s why he wont prosecute Huma Abadin for violating the law regarding the handling of classified materials… because she didn’t.

That’s why he went through those mental gymnastics in the senate yesterday spinning up bullshit excuses as to why he wont prosecute her. Because if he told the truth about how those emails actually got on the laptop… he would have to release the emails… and reopen the prosecution of Hillary Clinton… not only for the use of an illegal private server… but also for whatever crimes are exposed in the thousands of emails she deliberately hid from public record.

Now.. does that story make more sense?
