“Red alert this morning as we’ve just gotten an update to a major story we reported on yesterday. On Tuesday, we learned that Peter Strzok, the FBI investigator in charge of looking into Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server, actually ignored an indication that a foreign power hacked into the server, thus putting national security at risk.
Remember: former FBI Director James Comey confirmed that the Hillary server was indeed hacked. And we also know that Strzok, who was viscerally anti-Trump during the election and openly wished that Hillary would wallop him in the presidential race, actually changed the wording on the final FBI report on the server usage to effectively help Clinton avoid federal charges.
Now, it turns out, the corruption goes deeper. Much deeper. All the way to the White House, in fact. Fox News is reporting that Strzok’s ignoring of the breach was actually approved of with the consent of then-President Barack Obama. Oh, how far the rottenness does go. From the report: “Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Joe diGenova said Tuesday that key Obama administration officials ignored reports of a possible breach of Hillary Clinton’s private email server in order to protect the 2016 presidential candidate. DiGenova said that not only did FBI Agent Peter Strzok and then-Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper ignore the possible hack, but that they did so “with the consent of the president (Obama).”

Hold on a minute here. It’s bad enough that the FBI agent in charge of investigating Hillary’s email use ignored a possible breach with national security implications. But now we’ve learned that President Obama actually approved of this dereliction of duty? All we’ve heard within the time spectrum that runs from last year until eternity is that Trump poses an enormous threat to the world order. Yet, here Obama was, blatantly ignoring a foreign power tapping into the classified communications of his secretary of state.
That’s messed (insert far stronger expletives here) up. And Obama should be held accountable for this.”

“Barack Obama is sitting on the biggest scandal in American political history. His administration worked with the FBI to spy on the Trump campaign. Now all hell is breaking loose because Donald Trump sent out this tweet.
Trump blasted Obama as overseeing a scandal worse than Watergate. The President declared that the FBI spied on Carter Page – which gave them access to communications from when Page was briefly a foreign policy advisor – in order to swing the election to Hillary Clinton.
Trump was referring to the FBI counterintelligence investigation that began in the summer of 2016. That investigation – and the subsequent Mueller probe and three Congressional committee investigations – have produced zero evidence of collusion. But to obtain the warrant against Page, the FBI relied on the fake news Christopher Steele dossier. The central allegations of the document – that Trump aides colluded with Russian intelligence – remain unproven.
After Trump won the election, the dossier – and the Russia investigation – became the central building blocks of a sustained campaign by the media and the swamp to force Trump from office. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein caved into pressure and appointed Robert Mueller to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election.
His investigation has produced no evidence of collusion or charges against any figures in the Trump world for conspiring with Moscow. But he did bring charges against Rick Gates and Paul Manafort for foreign lobbying work done ten years prior to them joining the Trump campaign. Mueller also charged Michael Flynn with lying to the FBI even though the FBI did not think Flynn had been untruthful. These charges allowed Mueller to build a narrative that the Trump administration was being consumed by the Russia scandal even though nothing Mueller produced had any connection to what his mandate described.
Trump’s tweet comes on the heels of Trey Gowdy appearing on Fox News and declaring that it looks like there is going to be a second special counsel appointed to investigate the FBI’s conduct during the 2016 election.”
