Mike Pompeo to Announce “Operation Ajax Redux” Today at Neoliberal Globalization Think-Tank

Today, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will layout what they call their “Plan B” for Iran, an effort to further destabilize the country in preparation for regime change in Trump’s post Obama nuclear deal-era.

The plan, administration officials say, is to assemble a global coalition to pressure Iran into negotiations on “a new security architecture” that goes beyond its nuclear program.” CNN

They are slightly abandoning the propaganda line which centers on Iran’s supposed efforts to build a nuclear weapon they can launch it at Israel and be wiped in the aftermath.

Instead they are now focusing on Iran’s “influence in the region” which they claim is holding up various “national interests” of our, including but not limited to our Greater Kurdistan project in the Middle East, the ultimate decimation of the Houthi revolution in Yemen and of course… the ultimate surrender of all things Palestine to their Israeli masters.

“We need a new framework that’s going to address the totality of Iran’s threats,” Brian Hook, the State Department’s director of policy planning told reporters Friday. “This involves a range of things around its nuclear program – missiles, proliferating missiles and missile technology, its support for terrorists, and its aggressive and violent activities that fuel civil wars in Syria and Yemen.” CNN

There was a time during the Obama/Clinton regime when they wanted to install one of the old Shah’s family members to lead the nation as our designated puppet but now it appears they wish to install that woman who runs the terrorist organization the MEK. That’s how they are going to bring “freedom and democracy” to Iran… which, by the way… already has freedom and democracy.

Just not our “brand’ of it.

This should not come as a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention over the past few years as Pompeo is a Koch-industries creation who is a PURE neoliberal globalist who has on many occasions voiced his opinion that Iran MUST be regime changed, by force if necessary.  The force of a “coalition” he said not that long ago, by the way.

Hmmm.

Pompeo is going to lay out his plan in such a way as to make sure everyone who is paying attention knows EXACTLY what is going on because he is going to deliver the new ‘Plan B” plan from the hollowed-out halls of the morally bankrupt Heritage Foundation.

Just for a point of reference:

“The Heritage Foundation was founded in 1973 by Paul Weyrich, Edwin Feulner, and Joseph Coors.^[6] Growing out of the new business activist movement inspired by the Powell Memorandum,^[7][8] discontent with Richard Nixon‘s embrace of the “liberal consensus” and the nonpolemical, cautious nature of existing think tanks,^[9]

Heritage’s stated mission is to “formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense“.^[11]

As a reminder, I recently talked about the Lewis Powell Memo of 1971 in a video I produced for my Youtube channel as I was trying to explain how it and this “business activist movement” lay at the heart of the war we face today against our civil liberties and the manufactured consent being forged by the political elites and the complicit media to turn us against what Lincoln once called “the better angels of our nature”

For the record, the Heritage Foundation and the ENTIRE “business activist movement” (better known as the Washington Consensus“) advocate for the neoliberal economic ideology being installed on every country on the planet.

The Washington Consensus is a set of 10 economic policy prescriptions considered to constitute the “standard” reform package promoted for crisis-wracked developing countries by Washington, D.C.–based institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and United States Department of the Treasury.^[1] The term was first used in 1989 by English economist John Williamson.^[2]

Subsequent to Williamson’s use of the terminology, and despite his emphatic opposition, the phrase Washington Consensus has come to be used fairly widely in a second, broader sense, to refer to a more general orientation towards a strongly market-based approach (sometimes described as market fundamentalism or neoliberalism).

Neoliberalism consists of a few corner-stone economic policies including:

1. savage austerity policies for the population and local work forces
2. privatization of as much of the government as possible
3. reducing the size and strength of government
4. free trade deals that favor international corporations and conglomerates over indigenous businesses
5. deregulation of existing barriers to global financial interests including the hot money speculators who decimated much of the world economy with their sub-prime mortgage derivatives a decade ago
6. tax reform favoring the wealthy and Big Business at the expense of the small business and the people

You can add to that list the privatization or “independence’ of the nation’s central banking system. Trump has already imposed new sanctions on Iran’s central bank which is not part of the world system we promote base at the Bank for International Settlements. That was the first thing Treasury announced last week after Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Iran nuke deal.

It should be noted, two years ago, the IMF, the main culprit in the globalists’ campaign to impose neoliberalism on nations around the world, produced a study which FINALLY admitted what everyone else already knew: neoliberalism CAUSES economic hardship and suffering on the VAST MAJORITY of the people in nations where it is imposed:

“The research department of the International Monetary Fund dropped a political bombshell last month. The furor was set off by the publication of an article — “Neoliberalism: Oversold?” — that sparked a near-panic among advocates of free market policies and celebrations among their critics. The piece concluded that, over the past 30 years, the proponents of the economic philosophy known as “neoliberalism” have been systematically overselling the benefits of the two planks at its heart — namely, fiscal austerity during economic slowdowns and the deregulation of financial markets.” Foreign Policy Magazine, July 2016

So our leaders are still pushing neoliberal economic ideology which we all know (and knew long before the IMF finally came around) creates, by design, vast levels of economic inequality between the ownership class (billionaire oligarchs like the Koch brothers who created the Heritage Foundation) and the workers. It also creates, according to the IMF study, anger and hostility and eventually, the one thing all neoliberal globalists fear more than anything else… instability.

Yet, here we are, pushing to regime change and neoliberalize Iran anyway.

Why? Because when you force open all those markets and the technocrats and vultures swoop in, it will be a feeding frenzy unlike any seen since we neoliberalized Russia under that drunk puppet we installed back then, Boris Yeltsin.

Of course, right along with what the IMF warns, look what happened to Russia in the wake of that.

So, Pompeo is going to the heart of neoliberal globalization, a think-tank dedicated to that sole purpose, to announce “Plan B”: a new way to force a regime change on Iran.

His partner in crime, John Bolton, gave a speech recently to a group of neoliberal Iranians living here in the states in which he promised them they would be celebrating the return to the good-old Shah days (neoliberalized Iran from ’53 to ’79) before 2019. Ergo… regime change is certainly on the table and in fact, it is the table.

Mike Pompeo made a curious statement a while ago. He said that all he needed was a ‘coalition” to bomb Iran for a little while and then they could fix that “nuclear weapon” problem that doesn’t actually exist. Now he’s talking about putting together a ‘coalition’? Interesting indeed.

“In 2014, the two spoke to reporters on the Iran negotiations, with Cotton saying “I hope that Congress’ role will be to put an end to these negotiations.” If there was any doubt what their alternative to negotiations was, Pompeo clarified “In an unclassified setting, it is under 2,000 sorties to destroy the Iranian nuclear capacity. This is not an insurmountable task for the coalition forces.”  The Huffington Post, Nov. 2017

How about that? All the way back in 2014, when Pompeo was nothing more than The Representative from Koch Industries, Mike was talking about building a coalition to bomb Iran into submission. And that was even BEFORE the Obama-era deal was struck.

Now his big plan is to “build a coalition” to “put pressure on Iran” to stop helping folks like the Palestinians and the people of Yemen? You think his Koch sugar-daddies will be satisfied with that?

It should also be noted that there seems to be a deeper connection between Pompeo, Trump’s pulling out of the Iran deal (which Pompeo has always wanted) and … Israel.

The new Secretary of State has always been an advocate for all things Israel. And like most neocons, he is especially fond of Bibi Netanyahu.

Recently Bibi gave a 20 minute presentation in which he took files from the IAEA, which had been handed over by Iran in 2015 willingly, and Bibi presented this information as some kind of Israeli intelligence coup. He claimed the intelligence was current and it proved Iran was still seeking to create a nuclear weapon.

It was a complete fabrication and in no time, the truth came out that the information was freely handed over to the IAEA by Iran in 2015 as part of the new deal and it covered files dating back to 2003. In fact, some of the material presented by Bibi during that presentation had been fabricated by the Israelis.

Donald Trump then used that presentation as the final justification for him backing out of the Iran P5+1 deal in spite of the fact that it was old news and partially fabricated.

Now. Here’s where it gets interesting.

Did you know right after the signing of the deal in 2015, Tom Cotton and Mike Pompeo went to the IAEA looking to see if they could “discover” some kind of under-the-table deal between that UN organization and the Iranians where-by they would get paid off and allow Iran to keep building nukes on the sly?

As ridiculous as that sounds, yes, it did happen. And what else happened? The IAEA provided proof that Iran was compliant and willing to disclose all documents and records they had on their previous program to the pair who looked over it at that time. That was in late July of 2015 (deal signed July 14, 2015)

“After the nuclear deal had been finalized that summer, Cotton and Pompeo traveled to Vienna to review the International Atomic Energy Agency’s plan to finalize its long-running investigation into prior, possible military dimensions to Iran’s nuclear program. While such plans are routinely kept confidential in order to ensure that the inspected state’s security is not in any way compromised, the pair of hawks spun that technical plan into a nefarious, “secret side deal” they alleged the administration was withholding from the American public. Nothing could be further from the truth, but Cotton and Pompeo used their hyping of the facts to further their campaign against the deal.” Huffington Post

After that and after they failed to construct a viable conspiracy theory that might torpedo the Iran deal… Mike took a little trip to visit friends:

“In the summer of 2015, at the height of the debate over the Iran deal, Pompeo said that the deal “won’t stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb and places Israel at more risk.” He also said that the “theory that post-sanctions Iran will moderate is a joke – they want to annihilate Israel, now buying Russian missiles.” Pompeo also criticized the Obama administration for not demanding that Iran cease calling for Israel’s destruction as part of the deal – a demand proposed and promoted by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. “Ceasing to call for the destruction of Israel should have been a condition of the Iran Deal – along with release of innocent American hostages,” Pompeo said in a statement.

In November 2015, Pompeo visited Israel and met with Netanyahu, a meeting which he said left a strong impression on him. “Prime Minister Netanyahu is a true partner of the American people,” Pompeo said after their discussion at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem. “Our conversation was incredibly enlightening as to the true threats facing both Israel and the United States. Netanyahu’s efforts to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons are incredibly admirable and deeply appreciated.” Haartz, Jan. 24, 2017

Now that is interesting isn’t it?

Pompeo is a devotee of Bibi’s and in the wake of his failed effort to strangle the Iran deal in vitro, he rushes over to Israel to regroup and come up with new “plots and plans” to give Netanyahu what he ultimately wanted: regime change in Iran.

Is it possible that Bibi’s “intelligence coup” was actually Mike Pompeo bringing him all those files he has seen/received from the IAEA? The timing certainly fits as does the motive.

Long ago Mike Pompeo sold his soul for power and access to power. He took the Koch brothers’ money and did their bidding. Now he promotes neoliberal regime change in Iran like his retirement plan depends on it.

In my humble opinion, Pompeo’s “Plan B” that he will announce in an hour, would best be called “Plan TPAJAX” or “Operation Ajax 2”

For those of you who don’t know, back in the early ’50s, the CIA and MI6 decided they couldn’t allow a left-leaning leader of Iran, democratically elected prime minister Mohammad Mosaddeq, to ruin all those glorious profits they were piling up via British Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (later called BP… a company Pompeo gave a pass to after the massive spill down here in the Gulf) so, they fomented a regime change coup in the country and installed the Shah as our neoliberal puppet ruler for life.

But don’t take my word for it, after all, I’m just a “conspiracy theorist”

Here… the CIA admitted it a couple years ago. Just for the record.

The CIA has publicly admitted for the first time that it was behind the notorious 1953 coup against Iran’s democratically elected prime minister Mohammad Mosaddeq, in documents that also show how the British government tried to block the release of information about its own involvement in his overthrow.

On the 60th anniversary of an event often invoked by Iranians as evidence of western meddling, the US national security archive at George Washington University published a series of declassified CIA documents.

“The military coup that overthrew Mosaddeq and his National Front cabinet was carried out under CIA direction as an act of US foreign policy, conceived and approved at the highest levels of government,” reads a previously excised section of an internal CIA history titled The Battle for Iran.

The documents, published on the archive’s website under freedom of information laws, describe in detail how the US – with British help – engineered the coup, codenamed TPAJAX by the CIA and Operation Boot by Britain’s MI6.” The Guardian, 2013

Now, let me see if I got this straight:

• a guy who owes his political life to a neoliberal globalist family of oligarchs, the Koch brothers
• same guy who has been promoting the brutal regime change of Iran for years
• is going to announce a “new” plan of attack to force that regime change on Iran today
• at the neoliberal globalist foundation founded by those same neoliberal globalist oligarch brothers back in ’73.
• He meet with the IAEA to view documents later produced by his buddy Bibi in a move to give political cover to Pompeo’s boss for his backing out of the P5+1 deal
• and then that same year, he met with Bibi as well, possibly handing over said documents.
• “Plan B” is to create a “coalition” to put pressure on Iran… much like the “coalition” he once talked about bombing Iran into submission.

And all of this comes from a guy who used to run the CIA, said the CIA needed to be more vicious, the same CIA that teamed up with a coalition of one back in 1953 (MI6) to force regime change on Iran on behalf of British business interests.

And neoliberalism… comes from Britain.

Do I have a grasp on this or what?

Yep. “Plan B” is so milk toast. Mike is about to announce it over at the Heritage Foundation so that we all get the message… maybe his folks should do a quick rewrite and just call it “Operation Ajax Redux” or something hip like that. I mean, if you’re going to go out of your way to make a point, why equivocate? Make your damn point. Call it what it is and be done with it.
