Excuse My Mask ... I have a cough
The other day I went to the grocery store … and the checkout lady was coming down (she said) with a really bad cold … just before I pushed past her after paying for the groceries … a whooping of a cough no doubt sprayed the area …
Geeeeeze … I dropped my head and did my familiar prayer … “ Dear CREATOR … give me the strength to endure any course I am to take” … but I was sure hoping I didn’t catch a cold …
Oh well …. so much from that … in a few days … from ear to ear my throat and ears began to itch and burn fiercely … the bug had caught me …. “sigh” …
It’s been pretty rough going for a few days … the cough and pain in my chest was terrible … today is one of the better recuperating days …
But I’m the happiest at my computer in service to the CREATOR …
Nevertheless … I have an opportunity to go to the movies in a couple of days … I’ve already saw the Tom Cruz JACK REACHER move and it was great … but family members are all telling me to go see Jamie Foxx DJANGO UNCHAINED movie … UUUMMMM .. kind of iffy on that …
Now the question is …. if I still have a cough … would it make people more uncomfortable seeing me were a mask (not knowing it’s really to protect them from my cough)? … or would it be more comfortable for people if I just covered my mouth each time I may have to cough … either one I really would have appreciated if the cashier had done one or the other …
I think the Michael Jackson’s public mask style … was not such a bad idea … I’m considering keeping on in my purse incase I see somebody coughing for my own protection …
I really think if any employee in any public service … are sick or just plain-old have a cough … it should be mandatory for them to wear a mask to protect the customers … especially cooks and servers … even in doctor’s offices …
