Amazon’s Newest Product: Speed-Stalking

Are you annoyed with the hassle of searching the internet when trying to stalk an indie writer? All the work of tracking down your victims can be time consuming. Well Amazon has the answer: Speed Stalking!!

Amazon in it’s never-ending support of its resident stalker trolls has made life easier. Amazon has begun adding sponsored links for trackdown sites, basically paid stalker services, right on the search pages of authors. That’s right, with the growing market of stalker trolls Amazon now offers the ultimate convenience for its resident serial criminals. Here’s an example:

Now all the stalkers have to do is search an author and not only do their books come up but they also provide a link with a preloaded search so all one has to do is click it and it lists the results. So within a minute the potential stalker can have your home address, phone number, satellite photo of your house and diving directions from their house to yours. Isn’t that wonderful?

I have just one paid stalker site link on my search but other authors offer a wider range of options:

That author has two stalking options and this author has three stalking options on her search:

Needless to say I was outraged when I saw this since I have been stalked, bullied, harassed, terrorized, threatened and abused in the Amazon forums for seven years. Amazon after years of denial and doing absolutely nothing to stop the resident serial criminal stalkers it shelters, defends and lies for, has instead of curtailing the problem, made it infinitely easier for the trolls to stalk.

Completely flabbergasted by this I search on. I find this:

And this:

After dozens of searches a very disturbing pattern emerged. None of these speed-stalking links appear on any best-selling author searches or on any traditionally published author searches. These speed stalker links are only on the searches of indie authors. That’s right Amazon only offers the speed-stalking services on the pages of indie published authors.

I found this to be the case for many other indie author searches but it’s only redundant to post more.

The problem here is that it is almost exclusively indies authors who are targeted by the stalker trolls so it would appear that Amazon is now not only sheltering and defending this criminal gang of stalkers they are actually catering to them and helping them to stalk easier.

This appears to be the criminal, deliberate targeting of a specific group of authors with the intent to terrorize and persecute indie authors on the part of Amazon. At what point does this become criminal?

At what point does it constitute hate crimes? In my opinion that line has been crossed here.

If you are an indie author search your name on Amazon and see how many stalker services come up.

I didn’t find this to be true for all indies, and this is even more disturbing, I found this only to be the case for indie authors who have been targeted by trolls in one way or another on Amazon Forums or Goodreads. It just so happens the very same gang of serial stalkers are active on both sites. I hate to use the “C” word here but this is sure starting to look like a corporate conspiracy to persecute indie authors; to terrorize them to either run back to traditional publishing and get jerked around for decades by parasitic, exploitative publishers or to not publish at all.

It is a known fact there is a gang of stalker trolls intent on destroying the reputations, careers, livelihood and dreams of fledgling writers by stalking, bullying, harassing, terrorizing, defaming and libeling them operating out of the Amazon Forums and Goodreads.

It is now clear to me that Amazon not only condones and encourages this but is now actively helping these criminals.
