George Orwell warned us on August 17, 1945 . . . when his classic novel ANIMAL FARM was first published, detailing how in REAL life on the farm (politics), some animals are MORE EQUAL than others.

This book was essentially an attack on Stalin’s grab for power over the people, even though Orwell considered himself a Socialist.

We were warned once again by George Orwell on June 8, 1949, when his TIMELESS novel – 1984 was first published, that showed what happens to FREEDOM when a society is totally controlled by government.

WE’RE LIVING ON ANIMAL FARM . . . AS 1984 LOOMS LARGE:

There are several similarities between Obama and Jimmy Carter, with the MOST important one of all being the psyche of the American People, and how the world views America.

Other than during the ONE-TERM that Carter served as President from 1977 to 1981, in my Sixty-Four year lifetime, I cannot recall a period when Americans have been more depressed, stressed and less optimistic about anything, INCLUDING that 10-year duration of the Vietnam War . . . than now.

Obama will be remembered for many things once his Presidency is concluded, NONE of them good. But for me, I will remember Obama MOSTLY for how he stripped the joy and American spirit clean away from the people.

IT WAS TO BE . . . SOONER OR LATER:

It was inevitable, that after generations of pounding at America’s DREAMS and FREEDOMS by the LEFT, the day would come when their effect would finally be felt. And that day is here and now.

Other than a complete collapse of the social structure, I cannot see any remedy for the nightmare America is living with today . . . because of the LEFT, un-patriotic Republican Politicians who go along to get along, a morally corrupt media, and the LEAST informed American voting population imaginable.

RULES FOR A TYRANNY . . .

First thing – Disarm the people. Next – Restrict Freedom of Expression.

THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE:

When Obama first came to the White House, one of his pet projects beside disarming the people, was to re-implement the long forgotten Fairness Doctrine, which was in fact a policy to control the broadcast media, contrived by the LEFT in the days of FDR, but fulfilled in 1949 through the White House of (Democrat) Truman.

It took Reagan to wipe it out of active existence in the mid 1980’s, and George W Bush to do the same when it reared its ugly head during his term.

BUT HERE IT IS AGAIN UNDER A DIFFERENT GUISE BY OBAMA:

In this case, The FCC tried an end-run to FREEDOM of Expression by implementing a policy to “REVIEW” IN NEWSROOMS how they pick their news, balance their topics, and present the news they are to broadcast through their media. In effect, sending a chill of government COMPLIANCE across the desks of Newsroom INDEPENDENCE and FREEDOM from government control.

But, as news of this indirect, but no less NEFARIOUS challenge to the FIRST Amendment became apparent, CONSERVATIVE News Broadcasters (FOX News), Talk-Radio, Printed News Providers, and Bloggers tore a strip out of the FCC, leaving them for now anyways, to retreat with their tails tucked between their legs. But, given the chance, they’ll be back.

NO SECOND AMENDMENT . . . NO GUARANTEE FOR THE FIRST AMENDMENT:

As bad as Obama’s tenure is . . . and has become during his time in the White House, and will continue over the next few years of him being in office, nothing screams louder than taking away the MEANS of people to defend their FREEDOM . . . which is what the SECOND AMENDMENT is all about.
