How to know if Your Smartphone is Right for You

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Due to the fact that there are a plethora of smartphones available n the market today we are all faced with various selections when we choose, eventually settling for one. However, while it’s one thing to get a phone, it’s another to get the right one. Here are a few tips that will help you determine just how right your smartphone is for you:

Does it fit Your Purpose?

Everyone has a reason for buying a phone; it could be work, leisure, taking pictures, etc. whatever reason you have to use a phone, the truth is that there is a phone that is perfect for fitting that bill and meeting your specific requirements. When you look at your phone, does it meet such criteria? If you need something to work with, does your phone have a strong processor speed to help your functions? If you’ll like to use it for taking pictures, what is its camera resolution? This is probably the most important question that you need to ask yourself. Due to the fact that phones have become so diversified and specialized, the ability of a phone to fill your specified purpose is the whole point of you getting a phone. If what you want is something that you can just make use of to make calls and send text messages, then you’d have a much thinner choice or selection. However, specialized functions and other capabilities have seen some phones become suitable for some specific tasks than the other. For instance, while the Microsoft phones have awesome cameras (meaning they will be ideal for a photographer who uses his or her phone to take pictures most of the time), their batteries don’t necessarily last long (meaning that if you’ll like a phone for work, a Microsoft might not be the best choice for you). Your phone must be able to help you in whatever you do. If it can’t do that, then there is a big chance you’ve got the wrong phone.

Does it fit my lifestyle?

How do you like to live? Are you an “on the go” kind of person or are you the type that has his (or her) life confined to the sane place? Answering this question and comparing your findings with the type of phone you’ve got is a good way of finding out whether you and your phone are compatible. Cell phones HTC are fragile to an extent. This means that if you’re the type to go all put and exert yourself physically, you might not want to get this brand.

How did it affect you?

This question comes in terms of a lot of things. Here are two good examples:

What was its effect on your finances?

After you got the phone, did you have to cut off on some of the things you normally do for a while? Did you have to save up for a long time before you got it? The effect a phone has on your finances will also go a long way in determining how much you’ll have to spend when maintaining it. If you bought a phone and you had t shell out a large chunk of your savings then there is a big chance you won’t enjoy too much because of most of the other features that you’ll still have t pay for. A phone is a big investment; lots of buying syncing data usage, and general money outlay. If you’ve not got that much already after purchasing the phone, it calls to question your ability to enjoy some of these features.

What is its effect on your productivity?

Now that you’ve got the phone, are you the better for it or are you still the same? Has it been able to fit into your daily schedule and actually make living easier for you? If it has, good job. You just might have the perfect phone there.

How long do you intend to use it?

This question is one that you’ll probably have to ask yourself before getting the phone itself. If you’ll like something that will be able to last for a long time then it goes without saying that you’ll need something with a good battery life and which is rugged in itself.

How does it compare with others?

Phones, apart from being able to make life easier, should also be something you’re proud of holding. Make sure that your phone isn’t something that you can’t boldly say you have outside. For instance, to get the best phone, you can compare that Samsung phone that you’ll love to get with other phones to make sure that what you’ve decided on is the best fit for you.
