Alan Moore talks about his other-worldly encounters

Alan Moore: “As a writer I’ve got to be interested in everything. So yes, I was at least as knowledgable about the occult as any fantasy comic writer has to be, but it was just one of the things I was interested in. And it was something that was theoretical. My interest in the occult was: I’m interested in what people believe. Because that was the terms in which I saw it. There was no way that I could say whether what these people believe has got any basis or validity. What was interesting to me was that people believed these things.
