More and more victims of the horrific 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami are seeking help from councilors, spiritual and religious directors, and ghost hunters.

The death, destruction, and emotional destruction of that series of events was tremendous. According to the Japanese MSN news site sankei.msn.jp, the disaster brought many people face-to-face with death and many believe the apparitions may be a manifestation of their emotional wounds.

Leaders from several different religious organizations have been gathering to discuss the many claims of visions, ghosts, and other supernatural activity.

Japan has no governmental office that deals with this kind of issue, and yet some state agencies have been hearing from citizens with complaints of otherworldly problems as well.
