HPI Chronicles: Hyper-Dimensional Resonator: A Time Traveling Machine

I received a tip from HPI Paranormal Investigator-in-Training, Nancy Towne, she came across a Mr. U, who claims to own a time traveling machine called a Hyper-Dimensional Resonator. This machine which costs roughly $300.00 is able to transport you into time, either in your astral form or physically. I have heard of this machine, that was created by Steven L. Gibbs. Steven L. Gibbs was a guest on Coast-to-Coast AM with Art Bell. In fact he had given Art Bell one of these machines. Basically, the theory of this time traveling machine is that it can disrupt the electromagnetic waves similar to the infamous Philadelphia Experiment, in which a 36 gun sailing frigate actually disappeared in what appeared to be green fog and rematerialized in another area miles away. When they went on board the USS Philadelphia, they found that some of the crew members had their bodies fused into the interior body of the ship. The sailors that survived this ordeal went mad and all were eventually institutionalized.

The Hyper-Dimensional Resonator works on a lower level of disruption of the space/time continuum. This machine comes with an instruction manual warning the reader that during periods of time traveling, they could enter other dimensions or even encounter a demon, in which they could become possessed. It even gives the antidote for demon possession. One of the best ways to use this machine, is by first locating a dimensional vortex nearby using dowsing rods. When you discovered the vortex, turn the machine on, place the electrical wiring headband on, think of the time period you would be most comfortable at and start rubbing the ‘rubbing plate’ for either astral or physical transportation. The machine is equipped with a ‘witness well’, in which a crystal is placed in this well to identify the user. How did the inventor Steven L. Gibbs come up with the idea of this machine? He claims to have been visited by a futuristic time traveler, that gave him the instructions for this black metallic machine that is connected to a large electro magnet.
Mr. U told me that he has not experimented in time traveling with this machine and has been using it for health reasons. He feels that the machine does accommodate his health care. I asked Mr. U if he could turn on the machine, so I could go back into the time period of 1875, New Mexico, so I could meet and talk with Billy the Kid. Mr. U would not turn on the machine, he was worried that bad consequences could occur and he does not want to be held liable for any misfortune that could befall upon myself. This is reasonable, but unfortunately it does not assist me in my quest to see if a time machine actually does exist or if this contraption actually works.

Time travel is a feasible theory. If a wormhole were to be created for July 2002 with it’s open mouth vortex centered in Chicago and grows into length to January 2008 with it’s open mouth vortex in Elk Grove (where I live at), then on the Quantum physics level, I would be able to enter the mouth opening of the wormhole on January 2008 in Elk Grove and arrive in Chicago July 2002. My body would have to quantumized into subatomic particles during entry and reassemble itself at arriving to the exit of my destination. Do I think we have the technology or the intellect for such experimentation? My answer is ‘no’. Perhaps ancient civilizations from other galaxies may have this knowledge. If aliens who visit our planet were able to travel millions of light years to arrive on Earth, then they would be the likely candidates of bending the space/time continuum for time travel. They may even use the ‘collapse theory’.

The collapse theory is taking a piece of paper, marking one end A, marking the other end B and folding it in half, bringing A & B together instantly. This is sort of a Stargate method of space travel. I also believe that time travel can happen right here on Earth via accidental flukes of nature. Example: The Versailles Time Slip. To briefly tell you what happened, there were two older women (Anne Moberly & Eleanor Jourdain) that walked into a mist in Versailles, near the Palace Gardens, they were instantly transported to the Renaissance era, the time before the French Revolution. As they observed everything that was occurring in this time period, they discovered that they were like ‘phantoms’, unable to alter history. The people of this time period were unaware of their presence. They were able to read a book that a young lady in a park was holding, as they stood over her. The only entity that was aware of their presence was a sinister small man wearing all black. Some people have theorized that this was an entity that is able to move about in the spectrum of time periods with ease, and some have even theorized that this entity may be the conventional Men In Black. The ladies when re-entering the mist found themselves back in their own time period and recounted their tale of time travel to local authorities. What made this case of time travel so unique is that the book they managed to read, was a rare book in their time period of 1901 and only a few still existed. The ones that existed were inaccessible to the public, but yet they were able to quote off the words from the pages that were open to them. With this type of verification, it appeared that their claims of time travel were valid. There have been similar cases of time travel, this is only one of the stories.

As I finished my interview with Mr. U, it appeared that he had some other paranormal stories to tell. He told me that when he lived in Pescadero, CA, he encountered a black image, almost like it was a wall and could not determine how this black image appeared or where it came from. As he looked at this black wall image that was in the hallway of his Pescadero home, it vanished as fast as it appeared. In the home he lives now, which is 50 plus years old, he has witnessed the same man twice walking up to his doorstep and when he answers the door, the man is not there to greet him. He said that the man was 5′ 8″, has black hair and is in his mid-30s. His dog, Socks, a border collie mix has been spooked while in the house, as if he saw something and Mr. U is unable to see it. Footsteps have been heard throughout the house, when there is no one around to make those footstep noises. There has been an odor in this home, but an odor that resonates of goodness or something positive. He was not able to explain the odor. He tells me that Socks once became very excitable and just a few minutes later, he learns on the news that there was an Earthquake in Oregon. On another level of the paranormal, he witnessed a cigar shaped UFO near this home and while watching it, the UFO blinked into nothingness. Mr. U is an experienced Army pilot and knows what planes look like, this is something he never seen before. His last story is that his wife once saw a mother ship near the Hercules Power Plant and as his wife watched the UFO, a bunch of smaller UFOs came out of the mother ship to make flight through the dawn sky.

As I left this home in an unknown area of Sacramento,CA I walked with Nancy Towne to her car. I thanked Nancy for introducing me to Mr. U. Nancy said her mind was jogged from listening to Mr. U and related that she in turn had her own UFO experience in Susanville, CA. She attended some medieval event for the S.C.A (Society for Creative Anachronisms) and in the night skies there were many small UFOs darting around. She explains this was an incredible event that will stay with her for the rest of her life. Nancy also tells me that when she lived in Bakersfield, CA, she worked in an office, where office workers would joke around about ‘Jack the Ghost’. Jack the Ghost, a former employee of this outfit in Bakersfield, was known to turn the lights off and on and jingle keys. At times the employees of this outfit were spooked by Jack’s presence. It seemed that Jack would love to harass any employees that had to work late, he was even seen at his own funeral services by family and friends. Jack the Ghost died of excessive smoking complications, but for some reason he doesn’t want to leave this world.

As I left this home and as I said my farewells to Nancy Towne, a story popped in my head. A woman co-worker recently told me that a gravel voiced sounding man called her at work and wanted to order some inventory for his store. She placed the order and called the number back. The man’s daughter answered the phone. My co-worker told the man’s daughter that her father made an inventory order for his store. The man’s daughter said to my co-worker, that this is impossible, my father has been dead for 6 years. When my co-worker said he had a gravel sounding voice. The daughter of this man said…”my father did have a gravel sounding voice.”

Talk about a weird call, that was a weird call. When I was a newspaper boy in San Francisco, selling subscriptions for the SF Examiner/Chronicle, I sold a subscription to a man that lived in Mill Valley. Come to find out the man that I sold the subscription to, had been dead for 10 years according to his children, but somehow he was able to make a subscription. Well, enough of that weird spooky stuff, let’s talk about other weird spooky stuff…

Probably by now, you want me to discuss the investigation, but can I share one more story with you? Yes? Okay, well, check this out. Would you believe that Time Travel Observance is a reality? How? Easy, when we look up in the night skies at stars, we are observing the light of those stars from the past. It takes a long passage of time for the light to reach our Earth. So, let’s take this a step in the other direction. What if aliens from the other side of the galaxy were observing Earth? They would see the reflection of light from Earth that originated from our past. If the light from our past generated from let’s say..15 BC and they had the capabilities to magnify that light to observe the events on Earth, they would be able to see Emperor Tiberius Claudius Nero speaking to the people of Rome in the Roman Coliseum. That’s right, if we can see an object, it’s because the light reflects off that object. Light is the purest of energy and energy cannot be destroyed. That light will travel 5.8 trillion miles in just one year. The light reflection from this whole Earth is like a constant motion picture that is beamed into the outer rims of outer space for possible aliens to witness. So, not in theory, but in fact, Time Travel Observance does exist and will always exist. Just some food for thought.

Now let’s get to business and talk about the residential haunting investigation tonight. Tim’s group at 2030 hours meets up at the Coffee Garden at 2904 Franklin Blvd, in Sacramento. The team consists of Tim Hawkins – lead investigator; Paul Dale Roberts – ghostwriter, investigator; Michele Stump – historian/researcher, investigator. We all hopped in Tim’s new vehicle, his new Ford Expedition. We headed to a home somewhere in the Pocket Area of Sacramento.

It is a known fact that some of the new homes in the Pocket Area have haunting activity. When developers came into this area, they built new homes over old Portuguese family cemeteries. The homes are located near a canal. The couple we interviewed moved into this nice duplex home sometime last November 2007. Here is some of the activity that this couple experienced:
a) Heard a man’s voice in the kitchen area.
b) When the wife was lying on the couch, some unseen entity blew in her ear.
c) Their 2 young daughters heard mysterious footsteps on the 2nd level floor of their home.
d) A picture fell from the mantle in the living room.
e) Sometimes their pit bull acts weird and one time he acted like he was noticing an unseen entity standing next to one of the occupants of the house.
f) In the living room area, the voice of a man says “hello”.
g) Heard noises from a child and other noises from an unseen child.
h) One of the occupants saw the silhouette of a woman, she was completely dark and he felt like he walked right through her.
i) The occupants at times wake up at 2am or 3am and feel uneasy, as they are being watched.
j) Occupant smells bacon cooking in the kitchen at 3am, there was no one cooking bacon.

Michele Stump using an EMF Reader and digital audio recorder investigated the upstairs bedrooms and felt chills in some of the rooms. I also felt a few chills in some of the same bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is a cool atmosphere, while the rest of the house is warm. Tim used his dowsing rods and was drawn to one particular bedroom.

My findings: I checked my digital audio recorder and at one part of the recording, I heard a man singing. I played it back three times and determined that this was the beginning of the investigation and the man singing was actually coming from the TV. The TV was later shut off for this evening’s investigation. At another point, I thought I heard the laughter of a young girl while I was in a 2nd floor bedroom. I picked this up on my Listen Up Sound Enhancer and only to discover later, I was hearing the EVP recording of a previous investigation from Michele Stump’s recorder as she played it for the occupants of this home. I picked up no EVPs, nor did I pick up any audible sounds from my Listen Up Sound Enhancer. I did take some pictures of what appeared to be orbs in some of the upstairs bedrooms. But, as I and HPI, always say, “you can’t base a haunting on orbs!”
My video camera was running throughout the whole investigation and the video tape has not been fully analyzed yet. There was one interesting event that happened to me; while I was going over my recordings, I noticed with my peripheral vision, a quick moving shadow cross the bedroom entrance. Maybe someone will have caught that on film. Only hours of analysis will determine that.

Tim gave us a debriefing after the investigation and we discussed the possibility of a residual haunting. I discussed a case of a residual haunting in which a couple moved into an apartment in Tennessee. At a certain time on certain days, they would see a man choking a woman on the couch and striking her several times. Finally they were able to make out the faces on the apparitions. At a neighborhood barbecue, one of their neighbors showed them some pictures and they recognized the couple in one of the pictures as the man that was striking the woman on their living room couch. The couple in the picture are now divorced and are still alive. The residual haunting activity that this couple witnessed, was negative energy from this domestic dispute that was so strong, that it left an ever lasting impression in the atmosphere. An impression that repeats itself over and over again. A step back into time of that very dramatic moment in this couple’s lives. A moment when the woman victim felt like she was going to be killed and the husband that was hitting her was in a highly volatile state of mind.

Residual haunting activity can also be positive, such as cases where people hear in the next room as if there is a party going on, laughter and dancing! Another case of residual haunting is when a low level politician was giving a speech to a crowd of people on the street. His nervousness of giving this speech may have caused a residual haunting effect. Enough of my jaw jacking, let’s see what Shannon’s FINDINGS and CONCLUSION are:

SHANNON’S CONCLUSION ON TIME TRAVEL: “If time travel existed, wouldn’t someone from the future arrive in our time to show us the time machine? And would we not go back further in time to show our ancestors? I know, I know, there have been claims of people who say they are time travelers..but, let me digress, if time travel existed we would already have the means, from our decedents, to travel through time… This also make me reflect on a favorite movie of mine, Napoleon Dynamite. Napoleon finds Uncle Rico’s internet bought time machine, places the T-bar between his legs, the electoband on his head, and WAIT “I almost forgot the crystals”, as he is electrocuted by his brother Kip. “Turn—-it—-ooofff—Kiiip!!!! It doesn’t work!” “I could have told you that.” Say’s uncle Rico as he holds his family jewels.
