I have been so blessed lately to be able to interview so many fascinating people. This will be my third interview with Tessa B. Dick. The former two were on my radio show The Church Of Mabus which can be found on the archives there. Our third android waltz together is through the written word and I enjoyed it very much. 1. So how did you originally meet Philip K. Dick and what was it like when you first met him that you remember?
Tessa B. Dick: We met at a party where neither of us knew the other people. It was supposed to be a 4th of July beach barbecue, but we ended up at somebody’s house. I thought he needed somebody because he looked so lonely and sad, like a little lost puppy. He tried to get me drunk, but I dumped out the Jack Daniels and Coke because it was too strong. We ended up riding home together because Ginger, who was supposed to drive me home, got too drunk to drive and tossed her car keys to Phil.
