The Catholic Blessing conducted after I gave the occupant a baptism in her bathtub.

INITIAL REPORT:
CLOSED: Date to be there: August 11, 2012 Saturday Time to be there: 1800 Hours. Contact Person: Christina Scharff. Address to be at: Riverstone Apartments, Antioch, CA ONLY 8 INVESTIGATORS CAN GO! Activity Level: Occupant played with a Ouija Board, brought a demon into her home that makes his appearance look like Michael Myers. The Michael Myers demon goes into her dreams and causes nightmares of death. She walked into the bedroom and the bedroom would not stop spinning. The demon kicked a hole in her bedroom door, she lives at the apartment with her child and husband.

First Responders: Paul, Jon, Kara, Shari, Deanna, Lisa, Louise, Big Al. Special Note: Chantal Apodaca came over on Aug 10, 2012 – to discuss an upcoming case at the Valentine Construction Company in Manteca. This should be an interesting case! Stay tuned!

Christina Scharff tells her story in her own words:
It started when I was 24 yrs old. I just started dating my husband Robert Scharff. We went to Toys R US and decided to buy a Ouija Board, because we were bored and we were also very curious. We went to the Wild Cat Canyon to use it, because we knew the place was haunted. As we used the board we witnessed some loud noise that seemed to fall out of the tree and hit the table. Then it blew the top of the box off the table and on to the ground. After that we decided to ditch the board in the bush. In late September or early October we moved into this house on McBryde Avenue in Richmond, CA.

After I moved in, I was by myself, we were washing dishes, I could see reflections of things moving past me, I could hear footsteps, and it gradually got worse. I was asking the Ouija Board if it was the Gate of Hell and it said yes. The Ouija Board caused my cell phone to ring and when I answered I heard a voice tell me that I was going to die. The voice was very creepy and it didn’t sound human. The entity moved my video camera and tore out my video camera cords. The wires were jagged and torn apart. The water became freezing cold for unknown reasons. I had a cigarette outside; I could feel the entity follow me outside. The rocking chair started rocking back and forth by itself. I could see the image of the entity by my daughter’s bedroom door; the entity would change appearance from a small Asian man, to looking like my husband to looking like something creepy and evil. I could hear voices in the back of the room.

We were so scared, we moved into my mother in law’s house. The entity has appeared looking like Freddie Krueger to looking like Michael Myers. The entity made itself once look like a zombie, and it once bit me on the leg and it bit my husband on the cheek. I once woke up and there was a huge bruise on my arm. In my apartment here in Antioch the sliding door will open and close, the closet doors will open and close. I once had a phone call that was inhuman and it said, ‘I am your husband’ and my husband was standing next to me. Another time, a hole appeared in my bathroom door. I believe the entity caused the hole.

FIRST INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
No EVPs captured. Deanna walked into the bedroom and felt dizzy. Kara walked into Christina’s bedroom and gained a headache. With high EMF readings, it could be the reason for the dizziness and headache. Deanna also says she felt a dark presence in Christina’s bedroom. Jon captured orbs in his photos. Debunk: Deanna captures a face on the TV screen, but we determined that the face was caused by dust on the TV screen. Debunk: High EMF readings on an old picture in the apartment. The picture was moved to the middle of the living room and there were no more high EMF readings on the picture, but the high EMF readings were still on the wall where the picture was located. Most likely there is a lot of wiring inside of the walls where the picture is located, causing the high EMF readings.

SECOND INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Big Al captures strange shadow anomalies in the living room. 2 dark shadows and with a recreation is unable to duplicate the shadows. In our last session we have the occupant with us. We have EMF readers, K2 meters, digital recorders for EVPs, walkie talkies for the entities to communicate with us via the walkie talkie, night vision goggles, cameras, video cameras in the ready.

CONCLUSION:
Inconclusive. I conducted a baptism of the occupant and performed a Catholic blessing of the dwelling. Whatever may be haunting the occupant, I hope she can now feel free from this presence. The apartment atmosphere felt light after the blessing and the occupant said she felt better. JUST IN: Shari says she did indeed get some EVPs from this apartment and she is busy right now analyzing them and getting them ready to be published at HPI International – Facebook. If the EVPs are truly real, then it appears that there was truly paranormal activity at this apartment.

August 12, 2012, Sunday: After this investigation, the next day when I woke up, I was walking my dogs Hi-Pee and Pika through the neighborhood and I felt I received some kind of dark ominous omen. While walking I came upon a dead squirrel eaten by maggots, then I came across a torso severed dead rat with its guts hanging out and flies swarming this dead rat. Then the next thing I saw was the largest black widow I have ever seen on a tree. Perhaps the demonic force from last night did not appreciate my baptism of Christina and the Catholic blessing I conducted on her apartment. It was odd that I came across such horrific sights during a casual walk in my neighborhood. I can only wonder.

Tonight, I interviewed Dena at Starbucks – Laguna Blvd/Franklin Blvd – August 10, 2012. One of her ghostly stories she tells me is that when visiting her village in Manna, Greece – Peloponnese, she entered the village to be greeted by her brother. When she entered the village, she felt the presence of her ancestors everywhere. She saw a man named Nikko walking down the hill and she already knew who he was through her psychic abilities. Nikko was amazed on her abilities and how she knew everything about him. While she talked with Nikko, her brother was joking around and was rolling some toilet paper down the hillside and was saying he was defecating on the village. Dena warned her brother that the spirits would not like this humor and he could get hurt. When she said that an entity pushed her brother down the hill. Her brother learned a valuable lesson on this day. He knew he was cursed for making such a remark. Dena has an interesting life and during her lifetime, she knew the roommates of Richard Trenton Chase – serial killer. She met Richard once, but knew his roommates Kevin and David Rhodes very well.
