Anomalous `Perceptions’ Of Humans In Rural Settings

As readers of this blog know – I only post when the real urge hits; when a real urge to explore a seed of a thought becomes overwhelming. And, it’s probably because of receiving an advance copy of the upcoming new book by Lujan Matus called `Shadows In The Twilight’. I’ve only begun to dig into it,but Lujan had indicated to me in an email exchange recently that the book was going to have lots about the metaphysics of anomalous perception abilities in our human condition. I have not been disappointed by the first pages or chapters. For those not familiar with LM, I strongly suggest you check out his modern day Shaman ideas and ideals.

Indeed, the exposure to LM’s book has prompted this post today about anomalous phenomena perceptions in rural areas, – that I’ve been kicking around in my mind for a month or two now. Because as you know, some of the greatest `miracles’ have been associated with desert areas in biblical times for instance. And, as you also know, some of the greatest moments of `High Strangeness’ also seem to be tied with rural and un-populated areas – such as Bigfoot encounters or other anomalous phenomena. (Yes including UFO experiences too.)

Now the `mixing’ with some of Shaman Matus ideas about what he says is mankind’s condition –  parallel perception - which in very simple terms is described as our consensus perceptions that we all share of phenomenological objects; AND, the `potential’ parallel perception that at it’s most advanced level is `conscious lucid dreaming’. 

But, here is the `twist’, if it is to be called that, – what LM suggests is that our human condition has the capability to `attract’ entities that exist within that second dreaming attention with the consciousness that we bring to there. And, that in special conditions, the human being can literally `bring’ the `second attention entity’ INTO the `first attention’ – meaning, OUR NORMAL Worldview. (As a perception of a temporary being .) 

As a Shaman, Lujan takes it much further than the simplified version I am relating in the above paragraphs. Indeed, even in the first pages of this book, I’m inspired by what LM seems to have literally figured out about the human perception conditioning. Indeed, I’m blown away by additional words/ideas of Lujan’s about the seduction of that `second attention’ (using the old Castaneda idea of the term). A seduction that slowly ate up our very being within that perception structure, and that `at death’ – literally `sprang away’ with that part of our beingness.

(Yes, taking us back to the idea of being absorbed by anything being a negative and the idea of non-attachment being superior.)

Finally, I have to say that this idea meshes perfectly with what I call `The Phillips Phenomenology’. USING my words ……………… the `first attention of common consensus’ would be of `spaces’ that possessed the attribute of the immediate past embedded within the `not able to not be’ consensus reality of light bouncing off of `material objects’. But, remember, in the Phillips Phenomenology, the `not able to not be’ is comprised of the spaces of all objects attribute of space that is `not able to be’ (which is why it has no duration, ie, the now),Those `not able to be’s’ – continually appear and runoff as the replacement `not able to be’ arrives.

But, what is actually happening – in the Phillips Phenomenology – is that the Not Able To Be space is being `surrounded’ by the `able to not be’ attribute. Literally. Literally, the not-able-to-not-be (made up of not able to be’s) vanishes INTO the able to not be mode of spaces. The `second tier of spaces’ in a sense. The actualized (and unactualized) Past (and the near immediate `future’ locally, that extends into infinity of what HAS been actualized whose light hasn’t reached Earth yet) - also the `location’ – in my opinion – of Lujan Matus’ ideas about the potential of second attentions (and beyond) and a `second tier’ of entities who exist in this sub-space, so to speak.

In my opinion (IMO), it seems easy enough to extend these ideas to the seeming `subspace’ of `alien abductions’ – and the multitude……
