What would you like to relay to us when it comes to Extraterrestrials and mythology and how they relate and a new way to look at mythology?

RL: When we think about the concept of God we envision an eternal, kind, loving and omnipotent creator that pervades all time and space. This God can manifest at will or, as many mythological sources suggest, with a word.

The Gods, we find in mythology, were mortal beings with lifetimes that extended far beyond our own. They are portrayed as having amazing weapons capable of leveling mountains, smiting their enemies and putting fear into the hearts and minds of the other Gods! They are depicted as flying through the skies over incredible distances in their celestial chariots. And, instead of being a peaceful loving God like we imagine today, the Gods of myth were constantly fighting among themselves vying for ultimate power and control.

These Gods are described as walking the earth and interacting in the affairs of man and mankind. Their incredible stories seem more like science fiction, yet they were documented thousands of years ago, long before the high tech gear we have today.

Do you think all these gods aka possible ETs are the same ones in each culture that they have brought forth stories about or different sets of Gods/ETs? I often wonder if it is the same source because the stories are so similar and each culture is grasping to understand it through these creation stories.

RL: When you evaluate just the names of the Gods it is interesting to note that, in many cases, what we know them by are not their names but descriptions. For example, the Greek Goddess Gaia’s name translates to “Earth”. The Inca Goddess Pachamama name means “Mother World” or “Earth Mother” and the Azetc’s, Coatlicue, means “The Mother of Gods”. The Sky Father, in turn, name often translates to the words synonymous with sky, the skies, or heaven.

But then there is how the Gods themselves are described. When you look at the attributes of the chief Gods, they are all the same. The War/Sky God for example, is always associated with thunder and lightning, flaming arrows and riding on a cloud through the sky. The Fertility God, on the other hand is always related to water, or living beneath the waters. He is often tied to stories of the creation of man and is often described as being a trickster. There are more examples than this, but I think you get the idea.
