You have some interesting information about gold in the book. We all just about know the story of the Annunaki creating slaves to mine gold. What can you share about the differences regarding your take on this?

RL: In our studies we were aware of many contemporary writers who connect the Annunaki with gold mining. In writing the book we felt it was imperative to use the oldest source material we could find and then ensure that we found parallel or corroborative myths to support its validity. In the course of our research we spent a lot of time looking for the gold – a clay table from Sumer, a myth, a legend – anything. After a solid month of exhaustive research (I literally spent 10 – 12 hours per day for a month looking for the gold) I never found it, at least not in the way it had been purported.

We know from our research that gold was important to the Gods. In a couple of instances we found gold being referenced in relation to immortality. In Norse and Greek mythology we find golden apples associated with this life giving substance, but that is where the trail ended. We did, however, find something unexpected in our pursuit of immortality. The Aztec word for gold, translates as “the excrement of the Gods”, while the Inca describe it as “the sweat of the sun”.

Without going into a myriad of detail, we believe that the Gods, the extraterrestrials, may have been covering their bodies with gold to protect themselves from the UV radiation of the sun. This concept is supported by the notion that early cultures covered the face of their deceased with a golden death mask, so that they too can look Godlike and enter the realms of the immortal Gods uncontested.

Human beings are warlike specially our governments with the world being wrecked with violence. Then I read through a lot of these stories and they are filled with war and violence. Its dishearteningly bizarre. Is there something positive you could tell me from the creation myths to make me feel a little bit better about all of this? I see in one story all I need to do is not eat the food or drink the water and take the clothes and anoint myself to enter the heavens. I am going to remember that.

RL: I wish I had something positive to tell you. In our own society, we tell our own children “do as I say, not as I do”. Likewise, the Gods provided mankind with laws to follow. Myth suggests that we followed their precepts for a while. As time progressed, we let go of the laws and began following in the footsteps of the Gods. It is sad, but true.

From India comes the story of Parashurama and of course wars and what seems to be UFOs with nuclear technology used in battle. Could you tell us a bit about this and also are there any other creation myths that seem to speak of UFO technology as well?

RL: The destructive power of the technology found in mythology is incredible. When you read excerpts from books such as the Theogony Of Hestoid that tells us:

A great part of huge earth was scorched by the terrible vapor and melted as tin melts when heated by men’s art in channeled crucibles; or as iron, which is hardest of all things, is softened by glowing fire in mountain glens and melts in the divine earth through the strength of Hephaestus. Even so, then, the earth melted in the glow of the blazing fire. – Theogony of Hesiod

But stories like this are not limited to Greek or Hindu mythology. They are found worldwide. All one needs to do is read these ancient stories with a bit of discernment and the answers, the evidence, is right there in front of your eyes! Think about it. It is only recently that we can decode these stories and understand them from a technological and scientific perspective.
