Scientists Make “New Discovery”…37 Years AFTER It Was Published by Billy Meier

Earthquakes tied to oil drilling – now where have we heard that before?
A new report* concludes that the cause of a 5.6 earthquake in Oklahoma, in 2011, was oil drilling and related activities. While there are dissenting voices, the new findings echo what Billy Meier was told, and published, back in 1976…37 years earlier. Of course most scientists that hear about Billy Meier and his astounding record of prophetically accurate scientific information seem to have some kind of electro-chemical reaction to it, galvanizing themselves against the possibility that someone actually knows more than they do.
And, with the ever-present threat that funding, tenure, prestige, etc., may be snatched away should they not conform to expectations and the current hierarchy, it takes courageous, objective, truly scientific individuals to acknowledge Meier’s accuracy, let alone to dig deeper into its implications for humanity. Fortunately there are those like Dr. Weinstein who courageously came forward to acknowledge the truth, because he actually puts the truth above any preconceptions, or even personal beliefs.

Billy also took many great photos of spaceships on his farm in Switzerland.
Do you mean the spaceships he created with stuff he had around his farm?

I kind of thought it was a no brainer, if we remove mass from the earth and move it eventually there will be a reaction. Removing all the oil and mines that are emptied leaves space that eventually would need to remove the stress by changing its position. Its like Jenga, eventually it falls over no matter how careful you are in placing the moved pieces. The earth has moved before, even to the point of ripping the big stretch out of the Africa plate. We have been chugging oil and minerals out of the ground for a long time. Eventually something will give.
Glad to see more people opposed to fracking.
What?? Nothing against Meier here, but did you guys even read the report? (Speaking to previous commenters, not the author of this article). A university team and a couple of “federal scientists” say it was human activity that caused the quake. But the USGS state seismologists disagree. Going purely on merit and familiarity with the area, the state seismologists have more credit than the other group. Even discounting that, there is hardly a consensus here.
And why is there a mention of fracking?? The report specifically states that this is a conventional well, not a fracking operation.
Lastly, there is mention that “we’ve been taking stuff out of the earth” for a long time and “something’s got to give”. That is true, and subsidience does occur, but this report is talking about the quake being caused by an injection of fluid into the well, NOT a removal of oil! Injections are done specifically to counter any possible subsidience caused by cavities opened up by oil removal.
So while I find this article intriguing, and being a fortean buff I love the Meier reference, the kneejerk reactions people are havibg to this are not exactly inspiring. It seems obvious to me that using this as an excuse to do a bit of axe grinding, which is fine (though annoying), but you should at least make an effort to get your references and relevance straight before putting steel to stone, because you are not helping your cause at all by displaying your ignorance.
Rant over. To the author, thanks for the article.
In the 1950s Immanuel Velikovsky said that earthquakes would increase in intensity and frequency in the early 21st century. He based this on a 3500 cycle he had uncovered through his research of ancient writings from around the world. All of this nonsense about humans being the cause is a distraction from the truth – they would rather we believe we are to blame than admit to the real cause, because we have no control over coming events.
I’ve even seen these idiots go as far as blaming global warming for the increase in quakes. Its all bull.
