INITIAL REPORT:
INVESTIGATION: CLOSED.
August 23, 2013, Friday 1900 Hours. Address to be at: Sacramento, CA
Activity & History: 1950s home. 2 former occupants died in the house. Present occupant has taken pictures of what looks like vortexes. Occupant has seen apparitions, darting shadows. Cats meow at nothingness. Occupant felt something jump on her bed. Contact Person: Melissa Lockett. Interview with Melissa Lockett, Paranormal Experiencer
Question: Tell us something personal about yourself. Your hobbies, recreational activities, family life, places you traveled to, family life, favorite movies, favorite TV shows, favorite books, favorite song, have you ever met anyone famous?, etc.

Answer: I’m a fairly a regular gal in my early 30’s, I enjoy gardening, church choir, any & all paranormal shows (most especially Ghost Adventures). I’m enjoying murder mystery novels, and British literature. Some of my other TV enjoyment comes from American Idol, Glee, So You Think You Can Dance and similar shows. I’m eclectic in my musical taste from R&B to classical. I love Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood & Pink. While I’m not well traveled, I love the ocean & the redwoods. I have been to WA state & Las Vegas for vacations & enjoyed those very much. Special Note: I showed Melissa where I almost got to film with Ghost Adventures at the National Hotel. As for Pink, I saw her in concert with my son Jason. 

Question: How old were you when you had your first paranormal experience?

Answer: I was about 12.

Question: What happened to you when you were 12 years old?

Answer: An entity – male – peered around my bedroom door. It was translucent and slightly green in hue. He looked at me with great interest as if he knew me. Once I screamed for my grandmother, he dissipated. 

Question: You consider yourself as an empath, can you explain why?

Answer: Other gifted people have sensed this in me for one, but I also take on other people’s pain, emotions, sense their every feeling. I also can see and sense auras. I have had premonition style dreams and predicted events in other’s lives. I have had one experience of finding a stolen car based on intuition. Special Note: Melissa saw my aura, she said it was green and blue, which is a good sign. 

Question: Please list your significant paranormal experiences and explain them.

Answer: * age 12, male entity peering in room

• Numerous dreams with my grandmother after her passing, with messages that basically stated that even though she is dead, she can still garden. 
• Predicting friend’s life experiences and events that they may find significant
• Seeing full bodied apparitions inside my home walking thru and in other people’s homes, including slamming doors in one friend’s home. Seeing recently passed neighbors standing in my entry way. 
• Photos of orbs & vortexes
• One UFO sighting – a blue/white orb darted very irregularly thru the night sky in the Arden Park area around 2001.

AREAS TO COVER:
We have two areas to cover. The inside – large bedroom – living room – family room – kitchen. The 2nd area – is a huge backyard with a pet cemetery, 11 pets are buried in the backyard. There are two teams. Kara leads Team Salty Nuts with Jon R, Tuesday, Melissa, Big Al. Jon K leads Team Arden with Ivy, Patrick, Brooke. Shari and Wendy are floaters.

THE PSYCHIC WALK THROUGH:
Jon Rubsam, Psychic Medium did a walk through. He picked up on 3 entities. An elderly woman, the grandmother of Melissa and a man, with the first name Joel or something that starts with the letter ‘J’. Jon picks up activity in the back bedroom. Note: The grandmother’s urn sits in the living room. The ex-husband of Melissa once saw the full body apparition of the grandmother sitting on a recliner chair. 

Melissa once felt one of her deceased cats jump on her bed. Melissa has seen ‘darting shadows’ in the hallway. While in the bedroom, Melissa took 3 clear shots of what looks like vortexes.

FIRST INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Big Al captures an EVP, that sounds like a woman saying ‘set, set, set’. Or is she saying sit? Shari and Ivy have already captured large designer orbs in the backyard area. Team Arden is in the backyard and they are capturing many blizzard orbs – a multitude of orbs that are seen in the air – this can be dispelled as simply dust. Ivy captures a moving blue orb that is seen in a series of her photos. Ivy also captures what I call the ‘Hellboy orb’. It’s an orb that has a man’s face in it and it looks like the comic book character by Dark Horse called Hellboy. Jon K captures a designer orb that looks like a dog. Jon Rubsam picked up on Melissa’s great grandfather Homer Lewis. Homer died of stomach cancer. Jon picked up Homer Simpson jokingly and Homer Lewis corrected Jon with his correct last name. Jon picked up on the great grandmother Geneva and Jon picks up on the grandmother by the name of Delia. Well, he actually picked up on all 3 entities by name. Melissa says that Homer had a strong personality and gray steely eyes. Brooke at one point of time, felt sadness and a chest pain. Wendy felt the grandmother at the doorway, she felt a warm sensation. Big Al felt a finger push into his belly. Jon K took a picture of a dog orb and Melissa identifies the dog as her deceased cattle dog Kana. Jon K captures a designer orb that looks like a monkey face. I call it the monkey face orb. Big Al captures two questionable EVPs, very light voices. 

SECOND INVESTIGATIVE EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
Big Al captures a distinct EVP male voice that says ‘hi’. More orb photos are being taken. The 2nd time around, we did not get any real conclusive evidence.

CONCLUSION:
With Jon Rubsam picking up on 3 family member (entities), the dog face orb that is recognized by the occupant, possible EVPs, the blue orb photo that was caught in several shots, I do believe there is something here. This is what I consider as a ‘Casper Haunting’, very benevolent spirits that seem to be watching over the family. No cleansing is required. Other evidence is being analyzed.

THE COMPANY YOU KEEP MOVIE REVIEW!
August 18, 2013, Sunday: The Company You Keep is a 2012 political action thriller produced and directed by and starring no other than Robert Redford. The script was written by Lem Dobbs and is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Neil Gordon. The story centers on recent widower and single father named Jim Grant. Jim has a shady past, he is a former Weather Underground terrorist. The Weathermen were anti-Vietnam War militants. Jim is wanted for a bank robbery and murder and has hidden from the government and especially the FBI for over thirty years. He has taken on a prominent position as an Albany attorney. He becomes a fugitive when his true identity is exposed by Ben Shepard, an aggressive young reporter. Grant must find his ex-lover, Mimi, the one person who can clear his name, before the FBI catches him. Otherwise, he will lose everything, including his 11-year-old daughter Isabel. While Ben struggles with ethical issues as a journalist, Jim and his old friends from the Weather Underground must live with the consequences of their radical past. Amy Kneppel assisted me with the review of a movie called: ‘The Company You Keep’. I prepared a steak with elbow cheese macaroni for our movie watching. Amy brought over a Villa Alena Moscatu d’Asti white wine and Tiramisu for Two. What better way to watch a movie? Amy gave this movie two thumbs up. I gave the movie one thumb up. The movie moves at a moderate pace, sidelined with some slow dialogue that curtails the interest of what is actually going on in the movie. Robert Redford does his best to keep the intrigue going, but falls short at some places.
