I have had an experience w something that I could only explain at the time of the event as a shadow person. My description was of this video and others I had seen following my experience in my search to understand what paralyzed me.

I was not frightened which was surprising to me bc this thing was nothing I had ever heard about in my life. When this thing came to me in my sleep. It stood or hovered on the side of my bed. It put its cloud on black arms outward hovering above my body. I realized iv could not move. As I lauded there completely stuck in sleep but awake and not able to move, I found my faith being my armor so I found myself chuckling at this creature. I actually laughed and said “bring it. I dare you.” And just than, it looked at me w red eyes and suddenly began to shake and claws grew out of the dark shadow. It was angry. It felt angry by my lack of fear. As it shook in trying to do what it was w me, my body began to shake w it and by this point I had enough of this creatures nonsense so I thought “Be gone in the Name of Jesus Christ.” I had not know this would work but I had faith it would, and it did. At that very last word, the creature looked up at me in shock and vanished. Simple vanished w a speed we do not know on earth.

For months following this our home became haunted. We have four kids and all began to experience seeing spirits including one of our daughters seeing the shadow person in the hallway staring at her and upon her bed. One evening, she had an asthma attack so I went to sleep w her to help calm her w sleep. We both awakened to a “growling” that echoed all around us. The things we were now experiencing was terrifying. Soon, I bought Sage incense. Never had ever done this so didn’t know if it would work but had nothing else to rely upon so we used some scriptures from the Bible, all my kids and some friends walked around the house and cleansed our environment.

We didn’t stop until we felt the negativity in the environment gone. It has been 4 months and not one of us has seen, felt or heard any paranormal. It feels good to have the ability to protect ourselves and families from this spiritual warfare. The first is faith. The second is knowledge.

Mock me all you want for sharing my story. I often see many not so nice people making fun of comments by others but the mocking done by others says more about the mocker than the one genuinely sharing something they believe in.

I have never commented on this site prior to this comment bc I hadn’t ever felt inclined to do so but this video was reassuring to me that people are sharing their experiences and even if all the theories are just theories and we never truly know, one thing I do know and want others to know if they ever find themselves in a situation w some creature that causes sleep paralysis is to rely upon the protection of Jesus. And if you don’t believe in Jesus than let my comments and story be an example for you to rely upon when fear paralyzed your already paralyzed body bc for some reason, more and more people are experiencing this ” shadow person”. I don’t want anyone to experience it without knowing how to respond. Living in fear in life invites these things in and responding in fear keeps these things near us.

An affirmation to my testimony is that I have never encountered another experience w the shadow person since I tested it and than removed it w High Authority “Jesus Christ”. pretty cool, huh?
