Q&A with Ellias Lonsdale

Definitely a version of Christ represented that I can respect a lot more than what has been force fed down our throats. Ellias’s story of losing loved one Theanna and her journey to reach back to him beyond the veil to share this message. I must admit is very compelling and there is a passion to his writing that shakes flesh and makes the spirit glimmer.

What was your prime inspiration and motivation in writing The Christ Letters An Evolutionary Guide Home?

My/our prime motivation and inspiration was to love each one who reads this material into finding their own Christ within them, and to spreading that spirit wherever they go. My willingness, my edge of feeling incredibly strong about it has always been, as I know from my own experience and that of many others, that when we catch this wave of who the Christ really is and what He can do inside and through us is such an immense breakthrough in evolution. It is such a key part of our times, and so for me it is a no-brainer—get this message out there, share it with people, live it, and embody it.

Could you explain to us how these transmissions aka knowledge was received? Would you consider it channeled?

We are a team. The one who sends the messages through, Theanna, experiences and lives these things on the death side. And I, Ellias, in this world of the outwardly living, receive the messages, take them through me, and make them my own. It is not at all like channeling. I am not in a trance. I don’t go away. I don’t make myself little while the thing is huge. For me, I am in a loving exchange of a deep and profound kind with Theanna, and she feels the same way. And so it’s a message of love transmitted between two souls working on both sides of the veil.

She and I lived together in the physical for ten years before she died, and we knew each other for five years before that steadily. She is my best friend, my closest ally in many ways, and so when she brings these messages, I am responsive, aware, and in tune. I have learned a process of how to bring the information through that is very wakeful, self-responsible, self-activating, and that allows me to be free with the material and not bound by some kind of trance state between us.

Being born in the South of the USA I have seen much mayhem and suffering by people proclaiming to be followers of Christ and its turned me off towards the religion in itself though I do believe there is Christ consciousness. Why do you think a lot of people on the Christian path seem so mixed up and angry and filled with conflict?

They genuinely, heartfully experience that they cannot live up to the Christ that they believe in, the Christ that they know about and connect with. They feel He is a tremendous spiritual force, and they are as nothing. They feel they have to somehow make it up to Christ for either Him being strung up on the cross or other terrible sins people have done against Him by, in a sense, beating themselves up, making themselves do good, or keeping themselves on a certain straight line with everything.

The problem with that whole impulse is they are failing to acknowledge that the only way Christ can mean something in this world is if they can be as He is through them. If He is a being they worship from on high and abase themselves in front of, then we are still in old-style religion. And that is against the flow of wakeful evolution.

I guess I am seeking to not turn myself awake from Christ because of how I see people behaving in the name of God and the religion. I follow more of a Shamanic path and the Ancient Astronaut theory but do believe like I said in Christ Consciousness and have no problem believing in Jesus really. Do you have any info you could share to help me with this from your source?

When you invoke a shamanic direction for yourself, I feel it is the earthier, deeper, more in touch with life itself aspects of contemporary awareness and spirit that are closest to the real Living Christ; closer than any cosmic path that exists in our times. Because what He came here to do this time around is to bring His impulse into the Earth herself, into all of life, and into us as vehicles for this evolution in the New Earth. So it really is a path for incarnation, embodiment, and celebration of life. It’s not renunciation. It’s not against. It’s not beyond. It’s all the way into and through. (Chapter 3, pages 115-127 addresses this at length.)

What is a teaching you can share with us centered around crisis when it comes to Christ. Why do we go through crisis and dark times. I am a cancer survivor myself and have seen much tragedy. Why must we endure this and does it ever end?

The Christ path does involve suffering; just as earth life itself does involve suffering. But the difference from the way it has been in the Age of the Fishes to the way we will approach suffering in the Age of Aquaria, which is just beginning now for the next two thousand-plus years, is that we are becoming able right now in evolution to imagine, feel, and connect with our core self through suffering. And that is what the Christ is pointing us toward. He is pointing us toward the Christ within us, which is our true, essential self stripped of conditioning and programming.

What I want to say is the crisis that we are going through in our times is immense and overwhelming to everybody—this end of the world beginning of a new world crisis—is something we cannot get through on our own. We need the grace of Christ with us, and we need to approach that very carefully because we do not want to fall back on old religious paradigms. We want to meet Christ in a fresh, free, open way.

So when it comes to Christ returning and the so-called apocalypse what are your thoughts on this?

Following the track of what Rudolf Steiner revealed one hundred years ago, what has happened is that we have literalized Christ. We think if he returns, it’s into the physical in his own form, a literal second coming, or it’s some huge apocalyptic event where the world is emptied out. Neither is the case. Neither is true or real.

What is happening is that Christ has returned into the ethers, into the clouds, into the whole of the planet, and is here to sustain, renew, heal, and transform us. So there is a second coming that’s been in the works since the 1930s, but that second coming is holistic, unitive, and all embracing. It’s not some further overwhelming religious event to polarize, judge, condemn, and hyper dramatize where we’re at and what’s wrong with us. That’s not it at all. This is not a rapture. This is a new creation.

What do you mean by the Heavenly City? Do you mean another Earth or co creating on this one a better Earth?

It’s not simple. It’s not an easy teaching to understand. I will say that it is both. In the sense that it is a realm vaster than we are accustomed to here in the outer physical, it does exist as a cosmic reality. It is a place many of us are learning to be with in our dreams and in our inner life. Also, it is a place that will influence tremendously our life in the Earth and will gradually teach us to turn this life around and to bring the Heavenly City right into this world. Or to use our language, bring the New Heavens into the New Earth and merge the two.

Would you go into the dimensions of truth with us on some level as to what they represent?

It used to be that there were the ancient mysteries for the elite where a very few souls would study, research, and undergo initiations. They would essentially evolve beyond where everybody else was going, which was a necessary stage in human development. It now is that each one of us is called to our own inward truth, which can seem at first like an incredibly complex, chaotic, overwhelming situation. But it turns out to be very finely calibrated to where each one’s truth is also at one with the truth of the whole. So the truth we are seeking now is a very internal, experiential, subjective truth that has a connecting link with total truth and total reality in such a way that we are on course when we are fully with ourselves.

With Easter just passing thru what can you tell us about Christ being resurrected after his death? Historically do you agree with that scenario?

Yes, Christ was resurrected after His death. There are two myths to disperse to get it right. One is that this was a one-time-only event, which defies all our laws, goes outside of every pattern we can ever think of, and basically indebts us to Christ forever for having had the ability to do this incredible thing. That’s one of the two myths.

The other myth is that we are somehow not able to do this in a new, fresh way in evolution. The mind set is that we have to go back two thousand years to find how He did it and imitate Him. That is not what Christ asks us to do. He asks us to overcome death now because death is the great impenetrable barrier that stops everything cold. But overcoming death has to come again in this experiential, internal soul path that is for each one distinctive and can’t be laid out as some cookie-cutter pattern that everybody should follow and be acceptable accordingly.

What would you like to share with our readers from your book or thoughts as we depart? Also any links or new books on the horizon?

“When the mental program is rigid and preset across the face of the planet, there is nothing more to say about it. It is time to go deeper and find a way through that is not official and not controllable at that mental level. Life’s graces won’t wait for tight minds to catch the wave.”

When this question was posed, I opened the book at random to that statement. I will put it this way. We are in the blossoming of the heart’s knowing. The mind’s version of truth is losing its currency and legitimacy and edge across the planet. We need to switch to the heart’s knowing, and Christ is the golden bright sharer of the graces of the heart. In following Him, we follow ourselves and in following ourselves, we follow the whole. It’s all here together. Let’s be with it as one.
