(Before It's News)

The video below claims to be fresh new footage of a living mermaid. I could not find any information about where or who took the footage, other than the fact that It’s posted on YouTube by MrLegend66. Quite frankly it looks a bit fake in the beginning of the video, however the further you dive into it, and the closer the zoom, the little more believable it becomes. I can’t say that I am 100% convinced that mermaids exist or that this is a mermaid. Personally I’m on the fence and this could be a dolphin. But the footage is iffy and that’s why I’ll leave it up to you to decide.

  • I pity the fool that cannot tell that is CGI.

  • CGI at home is fun!

  • Was that Michelle Obama returning to his underwater lair?

  • It’s a dolphin

Not fake…. watch carefully shark attack seal fish.

  • wow, that’s bad.

  • Omg..lol it looks like a mermaid whale…lol I disagree w/ CGI…definitely looks like a whale doing his thing..errr mermaid whale I mean…lol tff

  • Now I’m convinced!

  • Actually, the Discovery Channel did a show on these mermaids a couple of years ago. From what was said they are quite real. The show attempted to convince those watching that proof had been found that the ancient mermaids were real.

However, I was left with the uncomfortable feeling that present-day mermaids may be the result of present-day genetic manipulation.

    • The discovery show was not meant to be taken as truth that beats all. It was an Idea, a big what if and so on. I thought the show was great for its story capacity not that it was the actual truth. Very interesting and it made people really think “what if”

The possibility of a human / fish hybrid might be so desired by some they might be trying to engineer it in some way. I can picture the classic mad scientist ( insert diabolical laugh ) working hard at trying to link the two species together. Maybe a childhood dream set it off, or wait a show on discovery channel :D

  • Has anybody checked MrLegend66′s other posts? Hahaha… Why anyone would use footage from his channel is beyond me.

  • a fool would believe this…

  • You would think if the people posting the video is going to claim it is a mermaid then at least they could do is invest in a better video recorder, so people can clearly see what it is they are claiming it to be in the video… cgi most likely … people starving for attention most likely.

  • Not CGI. A dolphin.

  • Maybe she can make me a Tuna Fish Sandwich? Dolphin free?

  • Here fishy,fishy, fishy.GAWD!

  • you don’t even have to know it’s CGI to tell it’s fake. the dude zooms in at the spot right before the “mermaid” jumps out.

  • so much fake you need a doctor

  • SOOOOO fake. But there is a sheep out there who will believe it!

  • Omg they finally captured footage of a fish jumping out of the water.

  • also, if this is NEW< where is the OLD?
