March 20, 2014-Statue of Liberty Eclipsed by Regulus and Asteroid 163 Erigone

March 20, 2014 is a very very usual day besides being the start of  the astrological year (Happy New Year/International Astrology Day). The Sun will rise in the Constellation of Aries the Ram, the leader and new beginnings but, in addition, an event that may not occur in our lifetimes when the Asteroid 163 Erigone  passes before the behemoth star Regulus on March 20, 2014 over the Statue of Liberty in New York City, New York.

In science this is called an occultation, in astrology an eclipse. If we break down the word occult which just means hidden. So 163 Erigone will hide Regulus bright star light for 12-14 seconds at 2:05am EDT on March 20, 2014. (If you are in New York City you should see the star dim its light, the eclipse will begin in the city and will be seen in other areas and parts of Canada).

In ancient mysticism, the star Regulus has associations with Goddess ISIS and Kemetic wisdom of Egypt. The Egyptians practiced that Regulus was Goddess ISIS and ISIS was Regulus. Formerly, Regulus the King/Queen star was in the Constellation of Leo for 2,000 years but moved to the Virgo Constellation sometime last year for the next 2,000 years. In America, the Statue of Liberty symbolized the Goddess ISIS or the Virgin Mother in masonic and other mystical traditions.

Goddess ISIS:

Goddess Erigone in Greek mythology was the daughter of Icarus, the daughter of the wine maker who received the secret of making wine from Dionysus but she killed herself after discovering the body of her death father. The Gods had pity on her by placing her in the Constellation of Virgo.

Therefore, March 20, 2013 will symbolized in the Constellation Virgo aspects of the Virgin, the unity of three Mother Virgins; nature, togetherness, motherhood, abundance, wealth, sharing, caring, peace, harmony, love cooperation, earth, healing, unity, wholeness, health, life after death, balance, life. Birth, femininity,  darkness, retribution, redistribution, renewal and restarts.

This will be a unique and very rare astrological event indeed.
