INITIAL REPORT:
April 18, 2014, Friday / Time to be there: 2000 Hours. Contact Person: Lady M and her husband Mr. J (The occupants do not want to be identified) / Address to be at: Napa, CA – Activity level: Renovation is being done on the house. 1941 home – 3 levels. Kitchen and cabinet doors open on their own, tools get unplugged all the time, shower turns on by itself, water faucets come on by themselves. Occupant has a list of previous owners. Blessing and metaphysical cleansing needed. 6 or 8 can go at the most.

Meeting me at my home at 7pm are Shari Aresta – HPI General Manager; Jon Koyasako – Lead Investigator – Security; Wendy Maxam – Videographer -Technician of Maxam Mysteries. The Rusty Anomaly (my Kia Forte) is a full car, with me – Paul Dale Roberts – HPI Co-Owner and Deanna Jaxine Stinson – HPI Co-Owner – Webmaster – HPI Journalist in the car. Since I am still wearing a cast, Shari drove us to Napa. Enjoyable trip on this beautiful clear night.

THE TEAMS/AREAS TO COVER:
Shari leads Team Oculus with Suzi Q on her team. Wendy Maxam is a floater. Jon K leads Team Transcendence. We have 2 areas to cover: Area 1 – Basement and 1st Floor (Share) and Area 2 – 2nd Floor and 1st Floor (Share).

TEAM OCULUS IS INSPIRED BY THE ‘OCULUS MOVIE’:
Ten years ago, tragedy struck the Russell family, leaving the lives of teenage siblings Tim and Kaylie forever changed when Tim was convicted of the brutal murder of their parents. TEAM TRANSCENDENCE IS INSPIRED BY THE ‘TRANSCENDENCE MOVIE’:
Dr. Will Caster is the foremost researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a sentient machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions.

FIRST INVESTIGATIVE SESSION EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
High EMF readings by the bedside were detected by Jon – which could cause hallucinations, nausea, dizzyness, headaches. Wendy found a possum on the side of the house. This nocturnal animal could be causing strange sounds that resonate through the house. No EVPs captured. Deanna captures a few orb shots in outside – Special Note: Orbs are only deemed as paranormal if we can determine intelligent movement, then it can be deemed as a S.C.F. (Spiritual Containment Field), otherwise orbs can be dust, lint, skin flakes, light refractions, dew drops, etc.

SECOND INVESTIGATIVE SESSION EVIDENCE BRIEFING:
No EVPs. Deanna captures a mist by the front door and in the 2nd picture, there is no mist.

CONCLUSION:
High EMF readings near the bedside can cause problems for the occupants as mentioned in this article. The possum can be part of the answer for sounds heard in the house, but this doesn’t explain why the faucets turn on by themselves or why the power tools get unplugged. It appears that maybe the entities are in hiding mode. To be safe, I conducted a Catholic blessing of the home. Thank you to the occupants for supplying us with coffee! Investigation: Inconclusive.
