Muslim politician in India, Abu Azmi, was asked a question about the ongoing epidemic of rape cases happening in India and Azmi replied that under Islamic Sharia Law not only the man would be hanged but also the rape victim.
Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Abu Azmi said women who were raped should also be punished. The statement came after this reporter questioned Azmi about SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s comments on rape that boys make mistakes and should not be hanged.
