How does nuking a volcano in America start Armageddon? That is the name of the final battle prophesied in Revelation to take place in Israel on the Plains of Megiddo. The connection here is neither real nor even imaginable.
This kind of careless reasoning does such ridiculous damage to The Faith. I’ll be glad when all the so-called Christian contributors on this site get a grip.
To start with…
“Mount” Tel Megiddo is not actually a mountain, but a tell (a hill created by many generations of people living and rebuilding on the same spot)
I think considerations like this are important since specific words might translate easy enough into another language but the meaning of it in terms of a cultural perspective, gets lost in the shuffle.
Before you condemn what somebody offers for us to investigate and decide for ourselves, I challenge you to research about how many Christians have even read the Bible; As well as other significant ‘Historical’ texts. (Book of Enoch, Book of Thomas, Dead Sea Scrolls etc…)
Keep in mind that when the bible was (supposedly) written – there was JUST THE MIDDLE EAST ON THE MAP OF THE WORLD.

I’m not watching the video but how exactly do they plan to nuke Yellowstone? The magma is miles below the surface. Surface nuclear detonations won’t accomplish anything but wrecking the park. Maybe if took the time to drill all those miles down placing multi-megaton warheads every half mile they might be able to poke a little hole in it. Seriously, do some research on the nuclear tests by the US and have a look at the surprisingly small hole those bombs actually created.
Perhaps also a little pinprick might cause a slow release of pressure rather than a big eruption. If the pressure isn’t there for a big eruption, poking holes down there isn’t going to change anything.
If they were going to go the nuke route they’d set one off in orbit and EMP the majority of the country. Instant 1850′s from the coast to coast. The country would tear itself apart inside of a week.
If I were to hand you a 1/4″ metal rod and asked you to break it without anything but your bare hands, how would you accomplish this?
Hopefully you would be bending it back and force so that you created a weak point, lets call them fault lines for giggles, so that you can eventually, with the right action, cause the rod to break into two (earthquake…probably on a 9+ magnitude)
Some of those Natural ‘pinpiricks’ (Geysers) might allow for a most unwelcome circumstance.
If they were going to set off enough nukes or sufficient power to “bend” miles of a rock over and over, the nukes would end up doing more damage than Yellowstone, particularly from the fallout.
My point again being that if humans managed to cut a little tube down to the magma chamber, it would be more likely to release the pressure rather than cause a major eruption. It would like that lake in Africa that kept bubbling out massive clouds of poison gas that killed thousands of people. What they did was to send a tube down to the layer where the gas collected to release a the gas through a pinprick rather than allowing it to build up to a major event.

I can understand Yellowstone going off when it’s ready to go off, but,…..going off because of a few little pictures you’ve dreamed of is another thing and totally absurd. I must say that I found this fascinating. I have spent two years in deep research and what I found; is always strange and always right in front of our eyes. This would be the ideal spot for any country to send a missile and they would know this. It’s even possible that the missile doesn’t even have to be nuclear, an explosion weakening the crust further then it already is, (which Hot Sots cause), would definitely allow pressure to escape, BUT NOT ENOUGH PRESSURE..,,just enough to send it in to full eruption. What exists beneath Yellowstone is a hot spot, where magma moves upwards in the Mantle, hits the base of the earth’s crust and melts it creating a huge chamber of magma. The hot spot is static but the Earth’s crust moves over it. There fore there have been many craters across the US caused by this hot spot. 2 million years ago this hot spot settled under Yellowstone. The mountain range around Yellowstone is interrupted by the 2.1million year’s caldera explosion – this swallowed 80 km worth of the Tetons…& Scientists don’t know when it will erupt again. Enough school today, DO SOME RESEARCH before you mouth off & condemn what others have put in time & effort to research, just to inform people. It’s up to you to prove them wrong by researching what they claim, Truth Seeker Hawk & SPJ done their researched, as I have.
