Legend Tripping The Ultimate Family Experience

Robert Robinson was born at Hamilton AFB, CA. He grew up an Army brat and had the privilege of visiting Europe numerous times. After graduating high school at Lansing Kansas, Robert enlisted in the United States Army in June 1982. He received his Basic and Advanced Individual Training as a Military Policeman at Ft McClellan, Alabama.
During his 21 years of service, Rob served in South Korea, Texas, Italy, North Carolina, Johnston Atoll, Germany, Cuba, Panama, and Operation Enduring Freedom: Afghanistan. SFC Robinson retired from the Army in 2003 and started teaching JROTC in Okeechobee, Florida. SFC Robinson then relocated to Winter Haven, Florida to continue teaching JROTC at Summerlin Academy in Bartow, Florida.
Throughout his career, Rob has continued to further his military training and education. He completed the Basic Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, and Military Police Special Reaction Team Course.  Rob has an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from the Central Texas Collage and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest Universty. Rob is also a certified PADI wreck diver.
Rob is married to the former Tracy L Bonfransico and they have four sons (Sean, Christopher, Joshua, and Jesse) and two daughters (Brittany and Kera). Sean and Christopher are in the military and Josh is attending college in North Carolina; Brittany is attending college in PA, Jess e live with his father in PA, and Kera live with Rob and Tracy.
Rob, when he was young,  became interested in Cryptozoology after watching the TV cartoon series “Jonny Quest” and the movies” The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas” and “The Legend of Boggy Creek”.  His mother, who is from Scotland, related stories of the Loch Ness Monster, to him.  Also, his uncle would relate scary stories of the Fouke Monster and Bigfoot. Because the whole subject of real monsters scared him, Rob started researching monster legends by reading every book he could. Rob also became interested in UFO and extratertriels after watching the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. His fear turned into intrigue and then became a hobby and passion. After retiring from the Army, Rob started going on Swamp Ape expedition with the Bigfoot Field Research Organization. Tracy (Rob’s wife) also had an interest in the unexplained and accompanied him on his monster hunts. Tracy also conducted paranormal research investigations such as haunting and ghosts. Rob  has accompanied Tracy on numerous ghost hunts. Robert took the Cryptozoology college class with Florida Keys Community College. He and his wife, Tracy, were selected to appear on ABC’s Wife Swap on 30 July 2010 as the monster/ghost hunting family. The Robinsons recently joined MUFON to further explore their interest in UFO’s and extratertrials. They like to  refer to themselves as Legend Trippers, and  try to have at least one Monster/Ghost hunt a month when their schedule allows. During a recent trip to Pennsylvania they stayed in a haunted bed and breakfast and conducted a ghost hunt.
Rob has stated that “When you are out at night, monster or ghost hunting, there is nothing better than being scared and excited at the same time. I would monster/ghost hunt 24/7 if I had the opportunity”.
