My Magnetic Hematite or Haematite Stones

I read a post about experiments with carbon graphite on Trish and Rob’s blog which interested me. So I took to Google to find out more, but got side tracked – as you do – and started looking at hematite (or haematite). I found an offer for magnetic hematite stones on Amazon and knew I just had to buy them – but didn’t know why. Luckily they weren’t very expensive!

I suppose it was intuition or something that told me to order them, or maybe it was because I already wear a hematite ring which Karin gave me, way before we even lived together. I never take the ring off. Even when I had to have kidney surgery I refused to remove it, so it had to be covered with tape.

Anyway, after I had placed the order I read that: “The iron content in magnetic haematite will cure blood pressure disorders and kidney problems. It is said to be effective in healing pain because it maintains the charge of nerve cells. Magnetic haematite will also regulate the blood flow in the body. It is also used to cure and relieve headaches and anemia. Additional physical benefits include relief from cramps, spinal problems and fractured bones.”

Perhaps that’s why I had to buy them to protect my remaining kidney.

But there’s still more to this story – another coincidence or synchronicity.

The day after I had placed my Amazon order Karin and I were in town in WH Smith – a UK book shop. I was looking at books at the back of the shop while Karin was in the queue to pay for something she had bought. While waiting a husband and wife, who live in the same road as us, started to talk to Karin. The man, Jack, asked where I was as he wanted to see me.

This sounds crazy – but I promise it’s true – when he saw me he said he wanted to show me his lucky stone! He got this out of his pocket and I immediately saw it was hematite. I told him I’d just ordered quite a few of them. He looked somewhat surprised!

Jack told me that he sometimes lends his stone to friends when they aren’t feeling too well.

We went our separate ways and the following day I told the story to my son about the ‘coincidence’ that had happened with Jack. He said that haematite was also his favourite stone. He went on to explain that a while back he was at a mind and spirit exhibition and started looking at the crystals and stones on display. He didn’t buy anything but the stall holder, for some reason, insisted on giving him a simple haematite ring for free!

After my hematite stones arrived from Amazon I gave two of them to Karin, but the next day she gave them back to me as she didn’t feel happy with them.

I took to Google again and the Sunny Ray website states that “Hematite is a male stone. This is obvious from the excess of iron in its structure, as iron is a typical male element. It is a stone of male love which promotes creating a relationship of love, balance and peace. Some say this stone brings mental clarity, better focus and concentration, clear thoughts and develops photographic memory”

That must be why Karin didn’t get on with the stones.

So what am I going to do with my haematite stones? I’m not sure but something will tell me what to do next – I know I’m meant to have them!
