Think about this for a moment.  14 years ago before 911, we were not searched at airports, there was no war dragging on in Afghanistan, and invading Iraq wasn’t in anyone’s mind, except perhaps for Dick Chaney and the Bush’s.

The Arab spring and the subsequent overthrow of the governments of Algeria, Libya, and Egypt were far from anyone’s mind, as well as the seemingless endless civil war in Syria with casualties in the 1o’s of thousands.  Now, the region is facing yet another radical Islamist group, ISIS, who threaten to turn Iraq into part of an Islamic Caliphate.  Christians as well as Shia Moslems are fleeing for their lives, in the wake of the atrocities done by these armed thugs.  http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/15/world/meast/iraq-photos-isis/

Antisemitism is on the rise and Jews are fleeing the Ukraine, as well as France and other countries in Europe.  You wouldn’t believe some of the hate mail I get because I support Israel.

People are leaving the USA in record numbers as they are tired of living in a police state where our government spies on us, monitors our every phone call and email, and taxes us at every opportunity.  Think of the Bundy ranch stand-off a few months back, where the FEDS stormed the ranch and rounded up the mans cattle.  Now we come to find out this might have been a land grab.

In closing todays post.  The above listings are just part of what is going on globally.  We should understand the times we are living in.  We are told in scripture what will be sign of the return of The Son of Man, Yashua/Jesus.  I think I’ve made my case with the above listings and thus, in my opinion the signs of His return are here.  When we see all of these things happen—wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places, famines, pestilence and troublesome times—we are to look up, because He must be coming soon.  This, is our hope…
